Stuff Of DOOM: I'm Onyx, born December 24th, 1983. Been writing since I was 8 years old and I'm still learning. I'm not amazing at writing (I claim no awesomeness on anything I do actually lol) or singing, or acting, or drawing, or other shtuff... I am a goofball, and Love makin' people laugh. I enjoy mimicking people too...

Apparently I write a lot of Dark fanfiction. Probably because I've been watchin' horror movies since I was 3 years old, and I've never been much for chick-flicks. And yes...for a girl, I'm very much a TomBoy. So you'll notice that a lot of the female characters I write about tend to be a lot like me...in some fashion or another. But that's usually how this fanfiction works, no? We (Authors I mean) tend to go, "Oh that just gave me an idea!" Once we've seen something we really enjoy watching, whether that be Television or Movie, and place a piece of ourselves in our fanfictions.

It's a nice little escape to go to when life just sucks. For me, depending on what level of hell I'm living at the time, can really depict how I'm going to write something. Or the mood of the characters...or the overall quality of the work. Some of the better pieces I have written (Devour and Forgiven, for example) were written when I was in a semi-tragic, semi-soulful mood. It's hard to explain, but a lot of Authors will tell you that depending on the mood they're in at the time, can make the story more intense in some aspects then what they had originally had in mind.

You'll also notice that I enjoy writing off the wall comedy. As well as the Sappy stuff. I like a mixture. It's like a mini-movie in my head when I begin writing something and even if it's dark, you'll notice it's not all dark. Wow...me, rambling...never good. (chuckles).

Also, another nifty note here... First FanFiction I EVER wrote and FINISHED is Alive... (Blame Riddick lol). And it's amazing that I look back at it, years later...and notice how far I've grown as a writer, but can't believe I wrote it in the first place and where the hell it all came from lol.

Alright...I've gone on enough. I'm a dork, love writing and I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy writing it :D

A lot can happen in 4 years... There were moments where I completely lost myself within a self inflicted void and had to find my way back. I've not forgotten you nor my stories. I will finish what I've started so I can bring brand new creations for everyone to enjoy.
