The mountain men have been defeated, and now Clarke and Lexa must deal with the repercussions of letting a missile hit Tondc. They also fight the feelings they both feel for each other waiting for Clarke to be "ready". Meanwhile, they come across a new people that have their own problems and someone they both thought was dead, comes back to help in this fight for survival.

With Lexa's unexpected help, Clarke defeats the Mountain Men & saves her people, at a heavy price. After the extermination, Clarke cannot forgive herself & leaves her people.
