I occasionally stop by this site to read stories, but since my time is limited, I take some pretty long absences in fic-reading.
I only ever indulge in Digimon, my favourite anime, stories, since I'm sure if I ever got around to reading other fics in different categories, I'd never leave the computer. I love reading Tai and Sora romance fics, as they are my favourite couples, though I like KarixTK, and other shippings too.
I'm afraid I'm one of those authors that always read but never review, and I know how frustrating it can get when the number of reads doesn't match those in the amount of submitted reviews.
Thing is, I only ever review stories I really like, that are well written and have an interesting plot that gets me intrigued, and keeps me entertained. Dissaponting to say, most Taiora stories are okay, but not great, and there are only a small few that I keep track of.
I'm sorry if some of you have read my reviews and thought them harsh. I really am, I'm merely expressing my opinions and I honestly hope you take no offence to that, and don't consider it a flame. That said, authors really shouldn't take offence to any 'mean' reviews I, or others may submit. If you're happy with your story, and you think you've done a good job, noone should take away the effort and pride you put in your work.
Also, some advice, don't consider reviews as the only thing that makes the world go around. You should post stories because you enjoy writing them, not only for the amount of reviews you get. It's unattractive for readers to see authors so obssessed with getting reviews.
