Hi, I'm Dusty!

I'm pretty new to this whole fandom business, but I am ready for a crash course. I've been reading fanfics for years on various different sites, and have yet to actually write one. But there's a first time for everything, right? So bear with me as I get my new story up and going :)

I suppose there is a chance you may want to know a bit about me so...

First of all, I am Canadian, which really doesn't or shouldn't matter except for the fact that us Canadians spell things the British way. Colour, centre, etc. So when you see that in my stories, please know that it isn't an error or typo. I also live in a crappy, small town up here in the great white north. Which means there is absolutely nothing to do. I am hoping, though, that this will translate into updating my stories more!

What else... I'm 22. Legal everywhere. It's thrilling and disheartening at the same time. Sometimes I wish I were still 5.

...Hm... I suppose it might help if you knew the kind of stuff I was into. I am truly, truly devoted to Batman. Have been since I was a wee little child and I used to watch the old Adam West ones with my dad. So I will warn you now that the majority of my fics will revolve around Batman, primarily the Christopher Nolan ones. I like the comics and all but I feel that Nolan made it all so realistic and believable. But, alas, the Batman series isn't my only vice. I also like X-Men, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Trek: 2009, Red Eye, Sherlock Holmes, Inception, Boondock Saints, Clash of the Titans and anything to do with ancient mythology. I liked the Twilight Saga before it got all huge and in your face. I personally just find it annoying now. Sorry.

How 'bout some random facts? My favorite colour is green. I love giraffes. I want to move to Ireland one day. My nails are almost always painted. I mainly listen to folk, electro and indie rock music but I like a little bit of everything. I am an extremely visual person so expect a lot of picture links in reference to my stories. I am a total fashion junkie. I'm a geek. Big time!
