After the battle of Hogwarts, those in alliance with Voldemort are sent to Azkaban or put on probation. Draco Malfoy and his family are stripped of everything they have, forced to live in poverty and shame. One day Draco gets in trouble with the ministry and is sentenced to exile to the muggle world, with no one but Hermione Granger (in disguise) to make sure he doesn't escape.
