Hey there. Thanks for taking the time to come visit my profile. :)

About me:

My name's --, but you can call me thatorchdorkk.

I'm -- years old, so please assume I'm mature enough to handle mature situations appropriately.

My favorite color is green. My shoes are green, my backpack's green, my bedroom's green, and the chicken in the back of my fridge is probably also green.

My favorite movies are: Indiana Jones, POTC, Star Wars, The Nightmare Before Christmas, any animated Disney movie, and anything else that isn't filled with pointless teenage angst/gore (examples: Twilight, Saw)

My favorite books are: The Princess Bride, Pride and Prejudice, The Divine Comedy, Treasure Island, Moby Dick, Going Bovine, The Catcher in the Rye, A Streetcar Named Desire...

I'd like to think I have a diverse taste in music, but I mostly listen to OST//film score. I also enjoy classical (more like romantic-modern) music.

If you're wondering why I'm so Disney-obsessed, it's because I'd like to work for Disney someday.

If you're wondering why my username is thatorchdorkk, it's because I'm an orchestra dork (cellist ftw).

If you already think I'm weird just by this information I've freely given you... well, thanks for the compliment. :)

About my stories:

I'm currently in the middle of writing a fic right now. Hopefully, I'll be able to post it soon; but I can't guarantee how soon that will be. I'm taking 9 classes this year, 5 of which are honors, and 1 AP. So I do have a lot on my plate. But like I said, hopefully soon.

Once I start posting stuff, summaries will go here.

And once I'm eligible, I will be offering beta-reading services for POTC fics in English. So keep an eye out for that too. :)

Resources that thatorchdorkk absolutely loves:

The Universal Mary-Sue Litmus Test - An absolute must for any aspiring writer who thinks that their violet-eyed, platinum blonde character named Estrella Rosalina Isabella is a believable character. This is good for original fiction, fan fiction, and role-playing.

There are a lot of other good Mary-Sue tests out there that are aimed towards specific fandoms (i.e. Harry Potter, LOTR, etc.). I can't post them all here, unfortunately, but the next site I'm posting is a valuable resource for anyone writing POTC fics (such as myself) that contains a wonderful Mary-Sue Litmus test for POTC.

It also has a list of common 18th century names, words, links to scripts for the first three movies, and it even has links to blueprints of the Black Pearl and the Flying Dutchman.

Somehow, in some way, Inigo Montoya the Dread Pirate Roberts and Jack Sparrow have met up. Who will be the victor of the epic duel, and why is there a loud child's voice coming from the sky? Rated T for language, I think.
