Fanfic Status:

Prank War: NO LONGER ON HIATUS! Finally started working on this (although I'm in the middle of finals so it's definitely NOT the best time to be doing this, although the DW characters certainly don't seem to care) and I'm proud to announce that the next chapter will be out soon! I actually had the urge to reread it (while procrastinating studying) and was surprised at how much I didn't hate it. Pumped out 3k-ish words today and will hopefully finish the next chapter by Christmas, but no promises. Hopefully, I haven't lost the feel of who the characters are and what my writing style is since it's been a while since I've written fanfiction at all. That being said, expect another long chapter since it's already some 4k words and people are just eating breakfast!

A note for Prank War readers: Since this story was begun/written/planned out before Warriors Orochi and Dynasty Warriors 6 and 7, it does not include any officers that weren't available prior to WO and DW6/7. That means none of the following: Jin Kingdom characters (besides Sima Yi, who is still in Wei), Lian Shi, Ding Feng, Cai Wenji, Guo Jia, Jia Xu, Wang Yi, Bao Sanniang, Guan Suo, or Ma Dai. Liu Chan/Shan was already in the series for pure comedic purposes but he is not part of the War and I doubt he'll become much of a major character. Readers should also note that the weapons and costumes and movesets mentioned all correlate to DW5 weapons, costumes, and movesets.

Prank War UPDATE 12/26/11: Unfortunately, due to the hectic nature of the holidays and IRL catching up with friends, Prank War's next chapter is being delayed. I promise it'll be up soon, but I won't give a date so I don't feel too pressured to write something I'm less-than-satisfied-with just to get it out. I don't anticipate it taking longer than a month, but again, no promises. Also, I'm going to be doing major rewriting of some parts, especially earlier chapters which I thought had some blatantly unrealistic character reactions and portrayals. I went into this with a specific ship-diagram in mind (yeah, it was complicated) and I intend to keep it - but I want to make it less over-the-top with jealousy, arguments, etc. Well maybe not arguments...I tend to get long-winded with those. Anyways, the rewriting will probably begin as soon as I finish the next chapter, but don't expect many major updates soon after the next chapter due to that rewriting.

Plot Bunnies/Possibly Impending Fanfics:

1. Something Harry Potter, which is actually my favorite fandom. I haven't tried my hand at writing one yet, but I really should. By the way, if anyone has read the Harry Potter The Prank War by CrazyGirl47, it's a great fanfiction, but I solemnly swear that my idea for Prank War was my own. Although I have read The Prank War, my reading of it was after I'd already started my own fic.

2. Yu Yu Hakusho/Pokemon Crossover: not gonna say much on this one...only that it's been bothering me for a long time so I might actually write it instead of doing my homework at some time.

3. I started an Ouran/HP crossover that's pretty much just Ouran turned into a magical school based off Hogwarts - with their own adventures and such. I doubt it'll come to much since Prank War (and surviving college) is my main focus now, but we'll see.
