Despite Asgard's victory against Jotunheim, Queen Frigga remains cold in her sorrow after the loss of her second son, unable to care for Thor and blaming her husband for chaining her to Asgard as it's Queen. As she finally decides to flee Asgard and return to her homeland, Odin returns from the war carrying the infant son of his enemy. However, no child will ever replace Balder.

The quiet was deafening. Thor suddenly became very aware of how numb he felt, mentally. He hadn't yet given in and allowed himself to grieve. He began to contemplate all that he had lost and decided that he needed to force himself to face all of it...

His family does not care for him. He does not care for them. Those are the facts. Or at least, Loki thinks those are the facts. But then, strange things start to happen around his prison cell, Asgard is threatened, and Loki is forced to reevaluate.

A mission gone wrong leaves one member of the team injured and the rest of the team reflecting on their past mistakes. Thor hasn't seen his brother in five years, a reality which for all that time he's regretted deeply. On the eve of Christmas then, he decides to visit Loki, in his little antique book store.

Sequel to A Past Encounter. After a problematic turn of events,Thor brings the Avengers to Asgard in hopes that they would help defend Loki on his trial. They didn't expect Asgardian Justice to be this severely cruel, putting Loki deeper than what he's in for. Each of them will testify in their own way about the Alien invasion, slowly revealing that Loki wasn't behind the attack.

Odin decides that the best way to deal with Loki is to throw him into the dungeons without a trial. Three hundred years later, Thor is king and he decides that it's time for his little brother to come home. He is completely unprepared for the weak, broken creature, a mere shadow of his brother, that the guards lay at his feet. Warning: Major Angst.

Even after everything, Thor holds out hope that his brother can be redeemed. Odin lets Thor to take Loki down to Earth for one day, and Thor hopes to show his brother some of the good things about the human world, show him why he fought nearly to the death to defend it. Some overdue discussion happens over shawarma, But in the end, things go horribly wrong and bloodshed results.
