Hi, all! I'm just another amateur writer. I like to think up interesting back-stories of certain characters from my favorite movies and TV shows, as well as making up my own characters to go along with them. Also, I'm a HUGE fan of Boris Karloff (his initials are part of my pen name), and as you can probably tell, I have a very unhealthy obsession with Neville Longbottom =D So anyways, I hope you enjoy my stories!!!!!

Scars- Caliban becomes anxious while awaiting the completion of his bride, so Victor takes him onto the streets and lets him pick a woman to distract himself with until the upcoming creation is done. The chosen girl is the recently orphaned young Beret McGrane, whose life has consisted of pain suffered at the hands of her own parents. She soon finds herself thrust into a strange new world of fear, darkness, and surprisingly, intrigue.

Shattered- Stan has a small soft spot for Chelsea, his young teenaged neighbor. However, when he hears her cruelly gossiping about him one day, he decides to teach her a painful lesson. He kidnaps her and introduces her to a world of hell, promising to kill her when she's suffered enough. However, as time goes on, he realizes that there's a whole different way to punish her, to make her live her whole life in agony and wish she'd never said those things.

No Worse Way-15-year-old Tatum has a lot to juggle, like caring for Thelma, her sick mom. She encounters Charles "Chucky" Lee Ray, who doesn't take it well when she rejects his advances. He kills Thelma and kidnaps Tatum, promising to make her suffer before she dies...he keeps that promise. However, Tatum's suffering isn't purely physical.

Fork in the Stream- Eabha lives with her father (a Hell on Wheels worker) and her mother. Her father falls behind on payments to the Swede and is offered mercy under one condition: Eabha must marry him. She reluctantly does so, assured by her family that it is for the best. But as time passes, she learns that not only is her union with the Swede not for the best, but her whole life is about to become a chaotic void from which she may never escape.

Children of Two Worlds- Laken Naftali, the child of a Human man and an alien woman, suddenly finds herself an orphan with nobody to help her. Then, Amanda Grayson brings her to Vulcan as an adopted daughter. The little girl feels unwelcome on the logical planet, but makes a connection with her adoptive Vulcan brother. After all, they are both children of two worlds.

Silence-19-year-old Sofia Vollan has been sheltered since infancy by her father, who lives to protect her from the world. Unknown to her, he is a skilled embezzler who's ticked off the wrong people. The Thin Man is hired to kill him, but right after he carries out the deed, Sofia gets in the way, leaving the Thin Man with no choice but to take her with him. While trying to figure out what to do with her, he finds himself falling for her. But he's not foolish enough to think that the girl would ever love her father's murderer.

River of Red- Kyna falls into despair after losing her father in the Five Points gang battle, combined with Bill the Butcher killing her mother before her eyes. Cared for by Monk McGinn, she tries to function in the Points, and finds someone to make her smile again. But will her new-found happiness last?

River of Red - What If...?- An alternate ending to "River of Red." If the Draft Riots hadn't happened, who would've won the gang battle - the Natives or the Dead Rabbits? And how would that have affected Kyna's fate?

Wind- Doc Cochran found an orphaned girl named Winnie during the Civil War and decided to care for her. Years later, they both arrive in Deadwood. They try to adapt to life in an uncivilized camp, and as the area changes, their feelings for each other change as well.

Of Pictures and Toads- Lacey Ravensdale is a quiet but very special girl. When she was an infant, her older sister was killed by Voldemort for refusing to join him. When she goes to Hogwarts, Lacey slowly begins to fit in with our favorite characters, finding her very first friend in a certain clumsy boy. This is the first story in a series of seven, telling of Lacey's magical journey.

Of Nightmares and Pixies- Lacey returns for a second year at Hogwarts, and is very happy to be back. However, when Muggle-born students start to turn up Petrified, the whole school is on alert. And to make things worse, Lacey is starting to have horrible nightmares about the night her sister was murdered. What could this mean? This is the second story in a series of seven, telling of Lacey's magical journey.

Of Anger and Textbooks- The entire wizarding world is terrified by the escape of Sirius Black. Lacey tries to put this out of her head for her third year at Hogwarts, but things keep getting worse for her. Whether it be Snape's unfair diciplines, Dementors reminding her of her dark past, or the spilling of innocent blood, this year won't exactly be peachy for Lacey. This is the third story in a series of seven, telling of Lacey's magical journey.

Of Lockets and Gillyweed- Lacey goes back to Hogwarts, shaken by the events at the Quidditch World Cup over the summer. The school is hosting the Triwizard Tournament, which brews excitement and conflict among the students. But Lacey's horrid nightmares return, and she makes a devastating discovery about her older sister's murder. It certainly won't be a calm year for Lacey. This is the fourth story in a series of seven, telling of Lacey's magical journey.

Of Discovery and Secrets- Unhappy from the events of the previous year, Lacey returns to Hogwarts in low spirits. This isn't changed by the arrival of Dolores Unbridge, Cornelius Fudge's attempts to hide the truth from the wizarding world, or Lacey's returning night terrors. However, when Harry and others form Dumbledore's Army, Lacey grows more hopeful. This leads to Lacey discovering that she feels stronger for a certain friend of hers that she ever realized before. Much stronger... This is the fifth story in a series of seven, telling of Lacey's magical journey.

Of Loss and Strength- Despite the return of the Dark Lord, Lacey is able to concentrate on other aspects of her life, such as her newfound feelings for Neville, her advanced Charms classes, and the ever-increasing support of her friends. However, eveybody knows that things will always get worse before they get better...This is the sixth story in a series of seven, telling of Lacey's magical journey.

Of Pain and Love- Even after being made to go back to Hogwarts for her final year while her parents go into hiding, Lacey joins her friends in defying the sadistic Carrows and the despised new headmaster: Snape. She clings to her strength, but that is made difficult due to the growing forces of evil and the fact that Neville might have romantic feelings for someone other than her. This is the seventh and final story in a series of seven, telling of Lacey's magical journey.
