In the wake of Chloe's sacrifice, Max Caulfield may finally find the answers she needs from the last person she suspects, but she may not like what she hears. [Cyberpunk AU] Max disappeared five years ago. Suddenly she reemerges with her body heavily modified for unknown reasons. Against all sense, she and her steadily growing circle of friends work together to discover the truth.

One galaxy, two Shepards; their lives will never be the same again. With the Collectors defeated, John Shepard is about head back through the Omega 4 relay when the unthinkable happens and he and his crew are suddenly teleported back to Virmire. Once there, they stumble upon the Normandy SR-1 and he soon finds out that there's a Jane Shepard in charge and nothing is as it seems.

Max chooses Chloe, and the two must come to terms with that decision. Meanwhile, sinister forces move to protect themselves.

Faced with sacrificing Chloe or sacrificing Arcadia Bay, Max takes a third option.

Max accepts Chloe's request to let her die, but can't follow through, instead driving Nathan off with her newfound strength of personality and knowledge.
