This story takes place near the end of LDID-book 2. Instead of the maenad's bloody massacre, she finds Sookie and Eric fighting their attraction and gives them a unique kind of madness.

What might happen if Stephanie and Ranger followed that little voice that suggests they act on their impulses? Armed with only a phone and a great set of instincts, Stephanie decides to go with her gut and see what might happen. A Babe HEA.

Now she doesn't want them to catch the shooter and her subconscious is protecting her from the would be killer and keeping her from Joe by blurring her dreams with her reality. Rangers always there to protect her but what happens when she learns the one man she trusted lied and everything she thought was real was a fake.

Ranger throws a birthday party for Stephanie and Joe is invited. Remember, things are not always as they seem. Babe HEA, of course.

What if... Eric & Sookie were more honest with each other? What if they bloodbond sooner? Would Sookie's powers manifest earlier? Why is Godric so interested in their bond?
