Spike is Twilight's assistant. Of course their life get's exciting from time to time, but nothing bad actually ever happens. Or does it?

Every night, in a little stable just outside of town, an old mare lays down to sleep. And every night she has the same dream of rainbows and open sky.

Fluttershy is in the meadow playing with her butterfly friends when Zecora tells her that the dead are rising. It's up to her, Spike, Pinkie Pie, and a strange new pony to save the day!
