Summary for my first story, its a rough copy:

AU- Brooke Davis never had it easy - sure she was rich, beautiful, and popular but her father beat her mother daily. Luckily, she could always depend on her best friend and neighbor Lucas Scott-he and his brother Nathan had similar problems with their dad Dan Scott - he was abusive (verbally) but he always pushed his sons to be the best at basketball, thats all that seemed to matter to him. Brooke and Lucas always had an amazing friendship, she always knew she could trust him no matter what. Through the years their friendship stayed in tack with Nathan as their faithful sidekick. Lucas had a bit of a temper whenever someone tried to mess with Brooke especially her father.
