When I was ten years old, two phenomenal events rocked my little girl life. Four musicians from England caused my heart to skip to their new beat, and I became part of that surge of emotional and esthetic frenzy known as Beatlemania. To this day, I maintain there are two personality types: those who love the Beatles, and those who don't.

The second illuminating moment came when I sat down to watch a new television show called The Man From U.N.C.L.E. It became my second obsession in less than a year's time, and my attention was riveted on yet another exotic foreigner...Illya. He was, to me, the other bookend to my Beatle fave, George. Quiet and slightly moody, they both would remain slightly out of the spotlight until a witty comeback or sobering observation was needed.

When I discovered fan fiction it was a revelation, and I've been hooked on it ever since. MFU is my primary genre, what I write primarily, and read. More recently I have written several stories for Sapphire and Steel, another McCallum vehicle.
