Ah, the lovely month of May. The time of relaxation, bakini waxes, and furiously typed oneshots of various natures. Said oneshots being posted (or not, depends on my frame of mind and ability to actually type something up) are the reason that I'm updating this, after all.

Some people call me Ella, others call me something else, though I like the idea of going by Melody nowadays. It was a nickname coined for me on a chat server, due to the username that I use, and I very much liked it! I am old enough to do a myriad of the things that we all think about, young enough to not do an equal amount of these things, but I am also the kind of personality that takes an overly logical approach to everything - and thereby does hardly any of them. INTJ, if you care about that kind of thing. Music is my passion, but I am terrified of failure - so making anything out of it is naturally out of the question. I am currently pondering double majoring in a various combination of languages and becoming a translator - as well as maybay getting a minor in vocal performance, but I'm questioning this life-choice yet again, so that might change.

I have a ferver for slash, technology, dolphins, reading, chatting, food, things British (such as my boyfriend), and a myriad of other things that I probably shouldn't list here at risk of being.. obnoxious/wordy, probably. I abhor dancing, stereotypes (though making fun of them isn't out of the question), and closed-minded individuals/attitudes. Political correctness annoys the life out of me; I'm a bit of a sarcastic cunt who has been known to be moderately offensive at times, though I'm generally not too abrasive - when I first get to know you, at least. I am: blind, an atheist, introspective, dark-humored, and probably a bit too jokingly conceited.

I love to read, as mentioned above. This led to a deep-seeded desire to scavenge reading material, fanfictions included. My tastes have definitely changed over the years, so my favorites list might not be the best at describing exactly what I like. I have a slight (slight? Oh previous self, you're so cute) fervor for slash though, so that's probably accurate. I swing between the HP and Naruto fandoms most of the time, though I have a propensity for just randomly delving into the Just-In link on here and looking for a summary that catches my eye.
