Captain Joe Russell leads his crew when they find themselves on the run after going back on a job, and while hiding from their hunters they come across an abandoned federation Starship. Joe decides to salvage the ship not knowing that doing so will put him and his crew in the middle of a fight between the remains of the UFP and a man trying to destroy it.
