One day, when I was a freshman in high school, I saw a kid from my class was walking home from school. His name was Kyle. It looked like he was carrying all of his books. I thought to myself, 'Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday? He must really be a nerd.' I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friends tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on.

As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him. They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt. His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet from him. He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes. My heart went out to him.

So, I jogged over to him as he crawled around looking for his glasses, and I saw a tear in his eye. As I handed him his glasses, I said, 'Those guys are jerks. They really should get lives.'

He looked at me and said, 'Hey thanks!'

There was a big smile on his face. It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude. I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived. As it turned out, he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen him before. He said he had gone to private school before now. I would have never hung out with a private school kid before.

We talked all the way home, and I carried some of his books. He turned out to be a pretty cool kid. I asked him if he wanted to play a little football with my friends. He said yes.We hung out all weekend and the more I got to know Kyle, the more I liked him, and my friends thought the same of him.

Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books again. I stopped him and said, 'Boy, you are gonna really build some serious muscles with this pile of books everyday!' He just laughed and handed me half the books.

Over the next four years, Kyle and I became best friends. When we were seniors we began to think about college. Kyle decided on Georgetown and I was going to Duke.

I knew that we would always be friends, that the miles would never be a problem. He was going to be a doctor and I was going for business on a football scholarship. Kyle was valedictorian of our class. I teased him all the time about being a nerd. He had to prepare a speech for graduation. I was so glad it wasn't me having to get up there and speak.

Graduation day, I saw Kyle. He looked great. He was one of those guys that really found himself during high school. He filled out and actually looked good in glasses. He had more dates than I had and all the girls loved him. Boy, sometimes I was jealous!

Today was one of those days. I could see that he was nervous about his speech. So, I smacked him on the back and said, 'Hey, big guy, you'll be great!' He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and smiled. 'Thanks,' he said.

As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began, 'Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those tough years. Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach... but mostly your friends... I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give them. I am going to tell you a story.' I just looked at my friend with disbelief as he told the story of the first day we met. He had planned to kill himself over the weekend. He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldn't have to do it later and was carrying his stuff home.

He looked hard at me and gave me a little smile. 'Thankfully, I was saved. My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable.' I heard the gasp go through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told us all about his weakest moment.

I saw his Mom and Dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile. Not until that moment did I realize it's depth.

Never underestimate the power of your actions. With one small gesture you can change a person's life. For better or for worse. God puts us all in each others lives to impact one another in some way. Look for God in others.

TamaHaru- Yes! Yes all the way. I love the problems and obstacles in it for this relationship and they bring out the absolute best in each other. Comedy and romance is funny and entertaining to watch. It makes me wonder why every couple can't be like this. I think this pairing is at the top. I give this pairing:

9/10 stars! The only flaw is that it was SO obvious.

HikaHaru- Yes. This is a subside pairing and I love the chemistry. It shows that annoying, tough puppy love we all like. I know that Hikaru likes her as a girlfriend at one point of the Manga and I think both twins confessed. Still I love this pairing and you too. I give this pairing:

8/10 stars! It's just that I always like to stick with the book and pick the top, main love interest.

KyouHaru- Meh. It's... 'aight. I like it because it was a really confusing relationship, but I think that Kyouya's just a little too... hardcore for Haruhi... I don't get it, but something just makes me dislike the couple so much... Maybe Kyouya ticks me off. I give this pairing:

5/10 stars! I just think it's so-so.

KaoHaru- This would be such a positive relationship. It would have cute, funny moments. But I think Kaoru would like Haruhi to go after Tono or Hika-chan. It would also be kinda boring, too many fluff is bad for meh tummy. I give this pairing:

6/10 stars! Better than Kyou, but not much.

HunHaru- Ew... just... no... It's more like a sister-brother thing... I give this pairing:

1/10 stars! Ew...

MoriHaru/TakaHaru- Not better than Kyou, so it's... MEH. It's... okay? It would be silent and slightly Fluffy. Still, I give this pairing:

3/10 stars. Not great to me.

RenKyou- When done right in fanfiction, it is so~ cute and funny! I give this pairing:

8/10 stars! Awesomely romantic.

RanKoto- Ranka and Kotoko, Haru's mom, is so sad and tragic, yet uplifting. You can tell that they both miss each other and have their faults and points. It is such a spiritual, fabulous pairing I have nothing else to say. I give this pairing:

9/10 stars! It is minor so it isn't my fave but it is close.

KyouTama- In friend measures I give it 10/10. This is a very tough-love friendship and I absolutely like it! Tamaki is so funny whilst Kyouya is so rejectful, itis hard not to laugh at how different both are. You know what they say, opposites attract. In Yaoi measures, read the last pairing.

HunMori- Really? Cousincest now. Not just twincest, incest, Hitachiincest, but cousincest. It's just a cute, Fluffy cousin/family bond. In family I give it:

8/10 stars! I find it so KAWAII. Can't believe I just wrote that. In Yaoi check the last paragraph.

And finally...

KaoHika/HikaKao- 4/10. There's one reason why I voted a little lower than your standards probably. I'm not really comfortable with Yaoi, BoyBoy relationships, GirlGirl relatioships, or incest[especially not twincest or Hitachiincest]. I'm a proud Christain but I've no prob with any of my friends being Gay, Lesbians, or Bi-sexual. Love is love, why deny it?

For all Yaoi: 2/10. I can't really imagine boys... together. Neither can I with girls.

-Reborn! Pairings-

TsuKo/KyoNa- Lovely. Just lovely. I can't wait to write the fanfiction I'm planning on doing. It seems that Tsuna is actually making Kyoko blush by the episodes 60-69. It is too great for words. I can only say: This pairing is very comical and oblivious. It seems to hide a great secret, Vongola 10th-type-of-secret. I think that this is a total target for Tsuna's bow and arrow. 9.99/10. It needs to be like Nana's and Iemitsu's to be 10/10.

TsuRu/HaruNa- This is a close second. This is an unrequited love to me because everyone thinks Tsuna will stay faithful to Kyoko and not go for Haru. But some think that Tsuna's just wasting his time waiting for Kyoko. I'm neutral. True, I'm only on episode 70, but still it has taken 70 episodes and no one confessed?! Wow, that's stupid. 8.50/10.

TsuOme/ChroNa- Chrome and Tsuna is a great pairing. I like it because Chrome pecked Tsuna on the cheek right before the Guardian of the Mist Ring fight. It's a really teasing relationship and I can imagine Marmon/Mammon saying: "Of all people to love..." or "Why you? I'm crazy to pick you, Bel." 7.0/10.

XanLo/SquaXus- Even though I'm not comfortable with Yaoi and Yuri, I think these two are just confused and don't wanna friends or aquaintances. In friend measures 8.0/10. In BoyBoy 0.50/10.
