So I just realised I've been largely very silent on here. I thought I would make a short introduction in the hopes of integrating myself better into this site and by association my fandoms.

Truth be told I'm very fickle when it comes to what fandoms I actively follow. I like many things sure, but I participate in the fan-geeking over very few. For the last few years my main and possibly only constant fandom has been Star Wars. I love all 6 movies (though I admit IV - VI have a special place in my heart and are higher up on my own personal ranking than I - III) and really cannot stand the amount of hate the prequels get. Yes the prequels were flawed and at times cringey, but so were the originals. I feel like a true fan is someone who is able to take everything and appreciate it for the overall story it weaves, but I'll get off my soapbox now.

Closing this possibly too-long intro, I will also say my favorite characters are collectively the Skywalkers and Solos. Both canon and the now dead expanded universe. If I had to pick just one out of the bunch I would pick Luke in a heartbeat as in my eyes he is perfect. My pairing of choice is Luke and Mara so I generally enjoy reading about those two together. I say generally because I'm not much of a "shipper" in the sense I really go nuts over ships, yet I do enjoy them; but throw in little Ben in the mix and you have my attention for sure. I also like stories that involve a relationship between Vader and either of the twins in nearly any sort of way; particularly how a dynamic between Vader and Leia may have unfolded given more screen time. Yes, I like family-centered stories.

Well, that's about it. I think I covered everything that might even be remotely relevant for this site.
