Shepard has stopped the Reapers, taking control of them. The Normandy crew survived, returning to Earth six months later, only to find out that Shepard had been declared KIA. Three years later, the only people left on the Normandy are EDI and Joker. What happens when the long-thought dead Commander returns? When some new developments appear? How will the old and new crew handle it?

There was a theory once, about Nemesis, the Dark Star. Stillborn twin to the sun, it wandered the void, black and cold, and every 25 million years, came back home. AU.

They step out onto the galactic stage after the Reapers have harvested every other species, and find the crumbs left behind by the turians, asari, and salarians.
