(2-13-05, 10:12 PM I have decided to continue my "The Year of the Really Strict Band Director" novel. look at it...i love my new flute. i should write a story abt it. i
think i will..)

Hey to People...

Hey Mr. Duds, if you are reading this then this is one small step for you to understand that i love writing about band..band is my life..has been since 6th grade. enjoy your story. -)

About my posted writing ...

The Holes of the Future - I felt like doing a crossover and I thought this would be the easiest way.

Of Mice and Men Again - Another one of those stories that I wrote in my short story period. Kinda dumb but you can read it if you want, obviously.

BTTF IV: Doc Returns - I just began this story because I was in the mood to write fanfic about a movie. My brother is really into BTTF right now so I wrote a story about his favorite move.

The Year of The Really Strict Band Director - This is my first big novel. I am currently in the middle of two more, too bad they aren't 'fanfictions' so I can't put them up here. Here is a list of characters from my story. Nicky - one of my guard friends. Junior year we roomed together at band camp. RexBob - a baritone player. He is really a senior this year which makes him in my grade but in the story he is a year younger than Quackers. Tuga - another one of my friends. She and I have been friends since 4th grade. Sophomore year she marched with the guard because Mr. -insert name here- asked her to. Quackers - me. People really call me duckie. . and that's not my real name btw. I'm a senior this year and I marched piccolo.
Manda - really a nice girl. I needed someone to be the 'meanie' in this story and Manda became it. She is a senior guard girl and is in my day band.

The Day Abbott Left, the Day P. Duddy Came to Town - Abbott is the name of our old band director (Mr. -insert name here-) but he was fired as high school director and was given the job as middle school director (at least this is what his students were told). P. Duddy is the nickname that I refer to our new director, Mr. Dudzinski. He is an awsome director. This story I wrote one day in my aide hour. Not true at all. In the story P. Duddy is mean.

Pep Band Poems - obviously a list of poems me and a couple of my friends wrote when we were mad at the cheerleaders for stealing our bus. disclaimer - NO HARD FEELINGS AND NOTHING AGAINST YOU. coff sorry, yelling hurts my throat.

Juliet and Ceasar - my play that I wrote (really...wow...) that portrays what would have happened if Juliet, from Romeo and Juliet, met Julius Ceasar, from Julius Ceasar. They are both Shakespearian plays. The whole idea came from when I kept saying 'Juliet Ceasar'. I decided to just write a play. When over big in the English department.

The Curse of the Magic Wand - my Harris Burdick story I did in Creative Writing junior year. Originally called, 'Missing in Venice', The curse of the Magic wand made it into the high school literature / art publication 'The Portal'. I am now currently the editor of 'The Portal'.

The Band of Bubbles - a metophore poem that was written during my time in Creative Writing. Also made it into 'The Portal'. (to know more about 'The Portal', see above). Mr. D read it this year because my CW teacher was braging about my writing and he said it was good. Woo Hoo!

Our Band Blues - the blues song that three of my band friends (including the infamous RexBob) and I wrote in 10th grade English while studing blues and rock and roll songs. Ironically, the french horn player is again in band. He has been for two years.

That's What You get for Tossing Your Flag (when you're not supposed to) - Written during my 'short story' period. I wrote 11 short stories during this time in my life about a year and a half ago. Only 2 of them were about band tho so the rest are not posted on fanfiction.

Don't Sleep During Class - another one of those short stories. The the rest of the short stories, I was thinking about posting them at fictionpress.net. I have one thing there already.

About me BAND...

Flute and now (woo hoo!) picc player... as of aug. 25, 2003 i have been playing piccolo. and i love it...

I am now learning how to play the Clarinet thank you to my friend who
quit band and let me borrow her instrument (but she made me give it
back to her last week...dang)

I am very passionate about band (by the looks of this profile you could
have guessed that by yourself) and i hope to have more stories up soon,
of course about band.

About me ME...

i am 17 (woo hoo!) and have been one of thoses great drivers on the
road nowadays for about a year now (i got my license june 24).
i love to write, i didn't like to before i was a sophomore, but for
some reason i began to write stories and i haven't stopped yet. i like
to write stories for Marching Band (if you haven't seen that by what i
have posted) and i have written a lot in the band genre.

I love to read. My favorite books include Holes, the Holes survival guide, and Wrinkle in Time, Z for Zachariah, Any Stephen King novel (especially The Mist), and lots of Edgar Allen Poe stuff (I love The Raven).

My favorite movies are 'Holes' (I mean well duh, I love the book, so i gotta love the movie), 'Twister' even though i am like terrified of
tornadoes, 'Signs', 'Shrek', 'Drumline' (Hey...it's a band movie...),
'Finding Nemo', 'Forrest Gump', and 'Wrinkle in Time.'

My all time favorite television show is... (drumroll please) ...

THE SIMPSONS! I love that show sooooo much that my english teacher this year (and the same one from last year) keeps coming to me because I am the Simpsons expert. I have the first 11 seasons on CD's to watch on the computer.

About me WRITING...

my creative writing teacher (the best teacher I EVER had) even said that i can't get out of this one topic that i write about and that it must have a big influence on
me...well, it does. As much as i put down band and mr. -insert name
here, i love band. I mean, you can get too much of it (the students
who are drum major, was in marching band for 2 or 3 years before that,
in jazz band , is in wind ensamble and does everything that Mr. -Insert
name here- asks of them) but I'm not one of those and I am not putting
those down who are (Somie, incase you read this, I got this life from
you!and you suck..lol...)

Other types of stories i write are based on my friends like W.W. XXIV (world war 24, incase my roman numerals are off), stories based on my
cartoon character Beanpole the band fanatic (a parody of me) and Mr.
Boxott the band director (a parody of Mr. -insert name here-), my
Johnny story that I wrote for my english class this and is giving it
new chapters in my journals in CW (creative writing), i have many
stories based on people named RexBob (Johnny, The Year of the really
strict Band Director, Beanpole meets RexBob), JoeBob (Johnny, The night
of the Living Textbook), and GeorgeBob (Johnny, Beanpole).

I love to write scripts for projects in my english class this year. the two that i have written are 'Jezebel and Ahab v. Elijah' and 'Leda and the Swan.' My two friends / partners that are always in my group give me the resposiblity to write the script. my teacher always laughs at how good they are and the humor we put in it (Homer falls down, the guard flag
incident, and duckie can't stop singing...etc.)

-well, this is all for now... really have nothing else to say... i guess i should start writing some more
