Hello fellow readers!

Thanks for checking out my profile. I write (thus far) exclusively for Legend of Korra. I am a big fan of the Avatar series in general. I've considered doing a story for Avatar: The Last Airbender, but I like it so much that I don't think I want to tangle up my enjoyment with a complicated plot line. I'm not really sure what anyone wants to learn from a profile...Things about me, maybe? If this is the case for you, I'll compile some details about myself below.

Age: 20

Currently reading: Poetry! I've been on a huge poetry kick lately. Right now I'm reading Whitman, Eliot, and Baudelaire. Baudelaire is my favorite poet. If you haven't ever read Paris Spleen, you should.

Region: Midwest, I suppose. I like to describe my state as "smack dab in the middle of the country." There now, doesn't that sound colloquial? I live in a college town, anyway. College towns usually aren't as distinctly cultural. We have residents from all over the world, so we get a good mix of opinions and interesting people.

Coolest Thing I've Ever Done: Someone asked me this once and I've never really been able to narrow it down to one. I've done a lot of things that were amazing in different ways. I suppose my top answers would be: Backpacking Europe for 10 weeks by myself, staying with a local Mayan family in Guatemala, and I won an award and met the President once...So yea, tons of stuff. I've been really lucky in my life to have encouraging parents and great opportunities. Also, before you hate me and think I'm spoiled, just note that I had to work to pay for all the trips I took. I'm the middle child...doesn't that mean it's impossible to be spoiled?

Coolest Thing About Me: Again, I'm not sure. I can surf...is that cool? Honestly, I don't think of myself as a very 'cool' person, at least not in the normal sense. I'm more like a semi socially adjusted bookworm.
