Let me explain the previous with detail .

Hookers( not not THAT hookers, wierdo)- Snag peoples attention in the first chapter. This is why it is better to have the story on the first chapter, instead of an update chapter. If you can get them to want the next chapter, you are doing good!

Endings- Let them leave it off on something to remember the story by, even oon the 1st chap. It's alright, I know it's tough.

Detail- My metaphor for meat meant to add lots of rich detail. You want to go pretty high, but don't use words that are not used by anyone except Dictionary makers, jeez. Moderation? Yeah.

Fillers- If you make the entire story directly to the plot, it'll end pretty quick. Use fillers. This is where moderation is most important. Not enough, and it is confusing. Too much, and it's plain out boring.

Cliche- Adding in some cliche make the plot a bit more realistic, and keeps people from being OOC (Or OOOC, out of original character?) THIS IS WHERE SHEER MINIMALISM COMES IN. NEVER EVER MAKE STEREOTYPES TO OBVIOUS. THAT'S ONE OF MY BIGGEST PET PEEVES!

Foil - Foiling means making two PEople very different to give the entire story character.
