My Favorite Movies: Raising Arizona, Chicago, The Check is in the Mail (good luck finding that one anywhere, the most pointlessly hysterical film of the 80s), The Princess Bride, LoTR, Broadcast News ("F*ck, f*ck, f*ck, f*ck, f*ck. Can you use that on the air?' "Depends on how slow of a news day it is." "Aaron! I can't believe you said that!" "Hey! I'm very proud of that!" Ask any of my friends, Jane was based on me. Not that I was even around then. Anyway.), and Camp Nowhere for it's utter badness. Also, Home for the Holidays, as I am a Product of a Dysfunctional Family.

My Pet Peeves: that noise knives make on plates, most celebrities, mushy watery nail polish, people who go slow but refuse to get in the back, just about anything. Oh! I also can't stand it when I ask a question and someone answers, but they don't answer the question you asked.

My Favorite TV Shows: Oliver Beene (it's all about Charlotte and her magnificent amount of sarcasm, such as, "Tiles? Mortar? It's a freaking dog house!"), I Love the 80s, I Love the 70s (I finally figured out the Zoom arm-flippie thing, I was so proud of myself), and the occasional West Wing rerun. Also, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Jai is my gay boyfriend.

My Favorite Actors: Holly Hunter, Patricia Clarkson, Julianne Moore, Lorraine Bracco, Hallie Todd (who most of America knows as the Lizzie McGuire Mom, good god), the actress who plays Charlotte Beene even though I can't spell her last name for shit, Albert Brooks, Allison Janney, Meryl Streep, The Hotness Johnny Depp, Campbell Scott, and Eugene Levy, and Catherine Zeta-Jones, Sigourney Weaver, and Sam Rockwell. These also happen to be the only actors I like.

My Favorite Music: PJ Harvey, Sparklehorse, The Pixies, Radiohead, Fiona Apple, Tori Amos, Rasputina, Garbage, Something Corporate, Aimee Mann, the Chicago soundtrack, Wilco, Norah Jones, Natalie Merchant, Weezer, The Flaming Lips, Dido, Bjork, REM, Queen, The Ataris (if only for their fab--hee-- cover of 'Boys of Summer), Death Cab for Cutie, The Shins, The Solids, Joy Division, Imperial Teen, Jane's Addiction, Hot Hot Heat, and many more that I can't remember at the moment.

-I want to see Under the Tuscan Sun. Italy, hot Italian guys, and hot water in a toilet. What more can you ask for? ('The hot Italian guy should be kissing ME and seducing ME while simultaneously NOT DOING THE SAME TO DIANE LANE.")
-Good god. I can't think today. Well, I can. I'm just not doing a very good job of it.
-Why do all celebrities give their kids a bad name? Or, if we're talking acceptable celeb kid names, why do they always name them Ella or Jaden? I can't stand that! But Meryl Streep should get some kind of an award for giving her kids normal names.
-Hmmm. Again, I can't think. If I ever have a kid (fat chance, I can't stand little kids), she will be named Stella or Charlotte, or he will be named Luke.
-What happens when you're forty years old and named Alyssa, or Brittnie? I don't think parents think of that when naming their offspring.
