Dislikes: Character bashing (especially Kuwabara from Yu Yu Hakusho), regardless of which anime, with the exception of bashing the obvious bad guys (such as Orochimaru from Naruto).

I read... everthing under the "Likes" section, except the food... (I read the nutritional facts for those...) and more. I am impartial to homosexual and heterosexual pairings. Occassionally I get bored of romance and want something without pairings. I like action and adventure and anything with an interesting storyline.

I write... both hetero and homosexual relationships. I am currently in the Naruto fandom and branching out into Yu Yu Hakusho. It's summer, so I've been posting stories like a flood, but once school starts I'm afraid there'll be a controlled dam. (August 2009)

My theory on why girls like shounen-ai/yaoi (male love)...
I think it has something to do with the hopeless romantic in us. Males are traditionally seen as strong and independent, so when we see these strong and independent (not to mention yummy- yes, they have to be yummy- looking guys) cuddling and being sweet to each other, something inside us squeals and melts. The fact that the men in the relationship are incontrovertibly in love with each other, and the desire of the dominant male to protect the submissive one reflects our (secret?) desire for a sweet relationship. (Feel free to PM- private message- me your theory.)

If a guy happens to be reading this can you give me your take on why guys enjoy shojo-ai/yuri (female love)? Just out of curiousity. BTW girls are free to comment, too.

I am looking for a different beta for each of my fan fiction. I don't mind having the same beta for more than one story, but I prefer different betas so that I can expand my writing style. So, if you're confident in your editing skills and enjoy my ideas please help me make my stories better.
