I love to read, I love to research, I love to write. Sadly, my love for the first two things is slightly greater than my love of writing. I don't do romance. I also don't do sex. This isn't a religious thing. It's not an age thing, I am an adult. It's a 'Even the mere concept of kissing someone on the lips makes me feel nervous and uncomfortable' thing, . If you find any it's almost certain to be canon relationships simply because it's there so I can use the pre-existing romance as a template. If you find non-canon romancey nonsense you're possibly reading too much into it, or I tried really, really hard. If the latter, I'll probably point it out eventually as it's hands down one of the hardest commonplace things in the world for me to imagine. Note the word "commonplace". You can also substitute it with 'ordinary'. It might also be accidental, in which case I'll point it out as well. I can read romance, more or less; I understand shipping and even have a few pairings I will argue for until the day I lose interest in the fandom, but I can't write it. I also don't read sex scenes, let alone write them. You won't find sex scenes in my stories. |
