Begins as funny/cute lead into Johnlock, but then Sherlock is kidnapped. What happens when Sherlock's mind is forced, under duress, to delete John? Moriarty... An examination into the background of the criminal mastermind, through the push and pull of the detective and criminal's magnetic relationship, offering a new perspective of him. John and Sherlock have a mystery on their hands. When John gets kidnapped, the kidnapper, supposedly the new leader of Moriarty's web, taunts them and commits crimes and games in a process that echoes Moriarty. While solving their cases, they hope to find out who the new leader is.

Moriarty crouched in front of Sherlock. "No one ever taught you how to use a mind palace, did they?" Sherlock only glared. With a sigh, the criminal smiled in a sick way. Sherlock swallowed the lump that had formed in his throat. "Well, it is time someone taught you." He grabbed the detective's face and squeezed, his sick smile growing into a dastardly grin. "Let's level the field"

When Sherlock walks into the flat one night with Moriarty, the tension starts to grow between our pair. Is Moriarty really for the greater good? But when Mary is kidnapped, John will have to team up with the former consulting criminal for help but is he to be trusted? Sherlock/Moriarty and John/Mary LANGUAGE!

Slight AU. Sherlock is hapnophobic (afraid of touch), and finds himself allowing John inside that barrier. Then, on a case, when a desperate killer is discovered on scene, he grabs Sherlock, and triggers a devastating flashback to something Sherlock can't really remember. John seeks to do some investigating and finds a blog post by a dying man... Warning: Graphic Non-con memory

Sherlock and John have been kidnapped and are now facing a potentially fatal task. Heavily inspired by the chapter in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince in which Dumbledore and Harry retrieve the Horcrux from the cave, there will be some parallels from that chapter and this story. Moriaty is back. For John. Whilst Sherlock is down at Scotland Yard, telling the OBVIOUS, Moriarty kidnaps John and keeps him in plain site. Sherlock has to battle his oh-so-tedious emotions that are threatening to resurface in order to get John back. Progresses into JOHNLOCK.
