No, it's not pride, I've got nothing to hide.

Forever though, I am changed; Evermore estranged

From these ways, and from long ago days.

Months gone by, and I know why

My view is different, no more torment.

In the days ahead, instead

of viewing me as a thing of passing fancy;

Goodbye to the old, the new takes hold.

Sorry if I scare, but I no longer care

Of what you may think, because I've stepped away from the brink.
