AU. Rebeca Mitchell, of the Northern Georgian Clan of vampires, is sent to a school against her will to better learn how to control her own "special" powers. Though, despite her hesitance and frustration of being forced into school, she finds that perhaps it might not be as bad as she thinks when she finds something she did not think she was capable of: love.

After the events of "Homecoming," and a couple weeks of pushing Kara away, Alex listens to a voicemail that shakes her to her core. Her words cut much deeper than she knew.

"Don't do that again. There was nothing I could do Kara. Where you went, I couldn't follow. I hate feeling so...so helpless. You're so important to me."

Kara meets a caliber of enemy she's never faced before. The power goes out in National City-lights, electricity, cars, phones, and Kara, all shorted out with a weaponized EMP. Kara has to rely on more than just herself to save the day. (Rated T for language, nothing freaky). Love the Kara/Alex sister dynamic, so will probably play that up a little bit (again, nothing freaky).

Alex is injured during a rescue.

After the events of 1x16 "Falling," Kara believes everything to be her fault. With her guilt consuming her she starts her descent to rock bottom with her friends and family none the wiser. The result of her guilt forms depression, anxiety, self-hatred, and maybe even self-harm. *Trigger warning: self-harm in later chapters.*

Prompt from Tumblr: Steve and Kara are dating. Then one day Steve decides to finally introduce his cute and adorable superhero girlfriend to his friends, the Avengers. Write their reactions to the revelation that Cap is dating Supergirl, their interactions with Kara, and their shock when Kara casually lifts Thor's hammer(without even realizing the importance of such action).

Of course, the DEO scientists have studied the spacecraft. They've turned it inside out, removed pieces and put them back in (wrongly, Alex discovers many times). But Alex grew up with a Kryptonian, knows the ways she thinks, how she moves. Knows what is instinctive to Kara, what would seem backwards to humans. Or, how Alex Danvers learned to fly and alien spaceship.

Sister fluff, basically a total rewrite of ep 7, "Human for a Day." Kara blows out her powers for the first time and immediately gets sick, and she won't let anyone but her big sister take care of her. Winn, James and Lucy co-star in equally fluffy supporting roles.
