Sirens, beautiful things that seduce sailors to with their voices, and eventually their personalities and looks, right through death's door, to the point when they have to put wax in their ears not to hear the sirens' entrancing notes. Thus, my friend Mandy, most of you HP fans know her for L/Js like The Odd Couple, The Gilded Lily, Romance Novel and Sirius Black Goes To Film School, received this nickname.. She's rather fond of it, being the egomaniac she tends to be, but, hmm.. You'd think that she'd stand a little revision in pronunciation from me, her friend, the creator of the nickname itself, but no!
