![]() Hello, I am a 17-year-old admirer of fan fiction who goes by Elveni Thicket, a variant of my given name. Even though I have yet to publish a single piece, I am currently in the process of writing a one-shot and analysis of Lord Voldemort. The plethora of college essays I need to have written by November have taken a toll on my willingness to write Unless I post an academic essay, all of my works will (probably) be centered around Harry Potter. Feel free to message me; I tend to be polite and reasonably helpful. What follows is a brief description of my works that are currently in progress: "Humoring the Gods" This piece will take place in an alternate universe where Ariana Dumbledore survived that vaguely-detailed battle described in Deathly Hallows. In this setting where there was never a Dark Lord Grindelwald, Tom Riddle develops an intellectual bond with the eccentric academic Albus as he matures into a man who is rather less dark than his canon counterpart. This is a largely psychological one-shot that explores psychopathy, denial and true brilliance. Warning: will include slash and (fairly explicit) violence. A Comprehensive Psychological Analysis of Lord Voldemort My analysis is more along the lines of an academic paper than it is a fan fiction, so I may simply post it elsewhere. When completed, it will be a long-winded unraveling of Harry Potter's primary antagonist: Lord Voldemort. Because I'm too infantile to explore more biological themes, I will follow an approach that is somewhat psychoanalytical and somewhat Jungian with elements of others knitting their way in. The projected word count is 10,000. |
