A series of events between Daine and Numair. Mostly awkward, who doesn't love those? More D/N undertoned than pure D/N. Light, fluffy fun.

It's after the immortals war and Daine has realized her feelings for Numair but has decided it's best not to tell him. This is a moment from her life trying to deal with those feelings.

As Daine and Numair recover from the nightmare of Carthak, Tortall opens its borders to allies in the creation of a new haven for magical learning and exchange. Yet even if they can share their magic and experience, will they learn to share each other?

I was trying to do a 30 day kiss challenge for Daine and Numair. I wrote six.
