Real life is making high demands on my time of late and unfortunately my remaining stories are none too cooperative at the moment (divided attention, I'm afraid). Not wanting to scare or concern anyone - nothing bad has happened - just really busy and often mentally tired by the end of most days.

I will continue to plug away on the stories I have in progress; just uncertain as to how quickly I will get them completed and post worthy. Currently, I have 6 Foyle's War stories in various stages of development, 2 Longmire stories, and 2 Alibi stories.

FOR THOSE FOLLOWING MY LONGMIRE STORIES:

I am pleased to say, finally, that the following, "I have not time nor mental capacity to maintain sufficient focus on creativity long enough to even develop my pending stories." is no longer true. I have several stories 'in development" for Longmire & Foyle's War. I resumed posting in November 2017. The Longmire fic Look Don't Touch (Seasons 4 & 5) is in progress; but is slow going as I have to watch and make notes a little at a time and viewing time is extremely limited.

It is still true that think about you and appreciate your stories (those who write) and reviews (those who read) of the past and wish you continued joy in the concluding series & continuing books (Longmire) and fanfiction posted here.

FOR THOSE FOLLOWING MY FOYLE'S WAR STORIES:

It is only fair you all know I have not read any of the stories for Foyle's War on FanFiction.net; yet. My mind went into story generating overdrive, when I finished watching all the episodes. I promise I will read my fill; and am so looking forward to it, as soon as I finish editing and posting my "pending stories".

I write because I love to write. Actually, I write because it becomes a compulsion; my brain engages and the only means of survival is for me to write down the bombardment of thoughts my imagination generates. But - I do LOVE it!

Previously, I have written fanfics for JAG, CSINY, and NCIS (sorry none of them were posted to Fanfiction.net). My current fandom writing obsession is FOYLE'S WAR. I am still strongly attached to LONGMIRE. Truth be told I love both the show and Craig Johnson's books in the Walt Longmire mysteries series.

Beyond fanfiction I am an old movie buff and an eclectic music lover. Credit my love of old movies for leaving things to the reader's imagination. I do not write smut, slash, femslash, or multi partner relationships.

It is my practice to COMPLETE my stories before I begin posting (to avoid any incomplete story frustrating readers); multi-chapter stories get one chapter posted per day.

I do not force stories beyond what is naturally developed/generated in my brain; when the muse says the fic is complete - it is complete!

It is beyond flattering when someone wants to see a story go further. I very often would like more from some of my pieces as well. All I can say is I understand those of you who would like to see stories continue; but, I do not force my stories. Past experience has proven to me, it will result in a failed effort.
