Hi there!

Welcome to my profile! There isn't much to see here since writing is not one of my strengths . I've had a plunny in my head for over a year and still haven't gotten further than the first three sentences... I think I'll spare the world. But if you're ever in need of badly written (German) poetry I'd be glad to help.

I like languages in general - meaning I like knowing them, learning them is a whole other matter. I'm pretty much fluent in English, I can understand written French and Spanish and I've got a sheet of paper that states that - apparently - I know Latin.

My pronounciation however is pants - no matter which language. I don't even have the proper local accent even though I lived here all my life. Quite frustrating though people from further north are glad I don't speak like someone with the mouth full of cotton...

I'm quite fond of (obsessed with) fanfiction. I started with the Yu-Gi-Oh! fandom and at the time my English was quite bad. It sometimes makes me cringe when I reread fics I remember fondly only to realize that the grammar and plot is all over the place...

Harry Potter is great, simply because there is so much to read. I like crossovers with LOTR, Sherlock and Naruto but only if they DON'T take place at Hogwarts. I also read quite a few twilight crossovers but then I realized they mostly bored me to death so I avoid them now.

Strangely enough I read Naruto fanfiction even though I don't like the manga/anime. It's further an anomaly since It's one of the few fandoms where I read het fics...

FFVII... I'm not quite sure how I managed to land there. I think there was a series of youtube videos where someone talked about their experiences with the game (no, not a Let's Play). I think I watched them because I bought Advent Children. Watching the movie and not knowing anything about Final Fantasy at all was quite confusing. The flashbacks didn't help...

(Why does the blond guy not know his own brothers? Why is the bad guy happy to find a box of shiny marbles? Who thought is was a good idea to give the bad guys a mother-complex? How long has this Kadaj guy not washed to make the water that dirty?)

If you're wondering why I bought the movie: there where two hot guys on the cover and it was on sale. What more reason do you need?

In general I like slash pairings, espacially

Harry Potter: HP/TMR, HP/LV and HP/LM

Naruto: Naruto/Itachi and Naruto/Kakashi

FFVII: Cloudx pretty-much-every-male-person-you-can-think-of (yes, very subtle fangirling)

if those pairings aren't available there are others I like but I'll run screaming from

Harry Potter: any slash containing Dumbledore, Ron and Neville - Sirius and Remus make me cringe

Naruto: Jiraya

FFVII: Hojo, Palmer, Heidegger, Hollander...

Het oftentimes has me avoid the story as well, with the one exception being Sakura. Pretty much every pairing including her is welcome (except when paired with Sasuke). Don't ask me why it makes no sense I blame Oroburos69. "Freedom in the eyes of Another" was just too good. Before that I actually couldn't stand her.
