It's been ten years since Marinette disappeared, Adrien died, and Paris's heroes vanished. Alya feels like she has her life together. She's married, has a great job, and just received her job's ultimate honor - the Ladybug file, dedicated to finding the lost superhero duo. Alya is now on the case, searching for the girl she's obsessed with... and a few other mysteries as well.

Marinette is sent 8 years in the future by an akuma. While there she discovers a grown up Chat Noir and more about her future than she could have ever imagined.

Things were starting to look up for Marinette as museum curator. She had a prestigious new exhibit to run, and an ace team to help coordinate it. That is until she crosses paths with the internationally infamous cat burglar, aptly named Chat Noir. She wants to hate him, but this suave and charming thief has his eyes set on more than just her exhibit's priceless Bastet artifact.

Everyone in Paris had always assumed that if Hawkmoth were to die, it would be mid-battle with the superheroes, or maybe in a jail cell years down the road, after being defeated. No one expected him to die suddenly in a car crash on a sunny afternoon. Least of all, his son.
