Following a large Fourth of July birthday bash, Steve finds himself up against Tony and Bucky, who have found an odd common ground in attempting to find new ways to annoy the new centenarian. A handful of the other Avengers tag along out of post-holiday boredom and curiosity.

(Sequel to Your Underoos) Peter and Tony's bond gets put to the test. A new crisis occurs, the Avengers come back with tension still there, and Peter realizes that they're all still a team ... still a family. Can he consider them his own? And him and Tony as father and son? (Some Pepperony and angst, but still bonding, fluff and so on.)

Peter was told to stay with the truck and protect the package but Tony was knocked down and he couldn't just stand by and watch him get killed. So, he abandoned his post. He should have done what he was told.

Team bonding: Ward's insecurities kick in on father's day while the team throws Coulson a party.

The common room is dark, lit only by the movie credits scrolling across the screen and, for a minute, I think it's empty. It's not. Ward is sitting very very still on the couch, a pained expression on his face, with FitzSimmons, sound asleep, propped up against him, one on each side of him. It's kind of adorable.
