![]() Words are powerful; stories even more so. Especially if they can grip you, bring you into them and let you share in the journey the characters are taking as though you are right there with them, every step of the way. What good is a story if it does not move you in some way? Why should you read about characters to whom you have no connection? You should be drawn in, feeling as they feel, whether it be the sheer agony of tragedy, the pure joy of triumph, or the overwhelming feeling of love between people that have become so intertwined with one another that they could not be whole without each other. This is what I write about. I write about people: the ties they have to one another, how they relate to the world around them, and the journeys they must undertake in order to grow, learn, and eventually find that place that is home. Disclaimer: I do not own the characters/places/worlds about which I write. I merely play in others' sand-boxes because they offer such rich possibilities. They belong to their creators and I make no money with my poor attempts at entertaining readers. Avatar picture made by Bloopeh @deviantart.com. July '09 I am currently dabbling in the Merlin fandom. I may post a few things once I get them written. |
