Hello! Welcome to my profile page. I am The World Only Began Today (a Chronicles of Narnia reference), and I hope we can be friends!

I have loved creative writing for a long time now, but I've always been hesitant to share my work. I hope this account will allow me to grow in confidence and practice my craft in a supportive environment. Feel free to give me honest, constructive feedback--and I'd be happy to do the same if you'd like!

My first story collection revolves around the Harvest Moon universe, with Sunshine Islands's Mark and Chelsea taking center stage. However, in true fanfiction fashion, I have taken several creative liberties with the story in areas such as:

1. The characters names (Mark is Shasta and Chelsea is Alex)

2. The location (the story begins on the island, but the bulk of the action takes place in the fictional burg of Boulder Town)

3. The universe itself (magic doesn't play a large role in the story)

With these differences in mind, some may wonder if this story truly is fanfiction. It's a question I've wrestled with myself. However, since the inspiration for these characters was indeed birthed from my own Harvest Moon gameplay, and since characters from the game are featured, and since I already had a FanFiction.net account ;) , I decided to post it here. I'm excited to share it with you all and see what you think!

Also published under this account is a work entitled "Not an Option" from 2012. I hope you enjoy the first chapter, but unfortunately, I will not be continuing the story. :)
