The Paladin's morning starts out like any other day...that is until Coran and Allura run into the room, lock tne door, and turn off the lights telling everyone to stay quiet.

The forces of light and dark must remain in balance, but a new enemy tries to change that. With Lance dead, Keith joins them to try and fix everything, even if it destroys him in the process. Dark!Keith but not really. Meanwhile, the team is down a Paladin and Shiro tries to fix things too, but the others don't want a new Paladin.

Stranded on Earth with no castle and out-of-power lions, the paladins have to find other ways to keep their minds busy and off the war. While out trying to have fun, Pidge runs into people- bullies- she never thought she'd see again, re-opening old wounds. Pidge decides to take a page out of Lance's book and protects him. But that turns out not working so well, because apparently size does matter, and now they're both injured. The most they can do is comfort each other and keep themselves awake until rescue arrives.

When Matt hears that Voltron is going on a super dangerous mission, he knows that he has to convince Pidge to not go or he'll lose his baby sister for forever. Extreme angst! Feels!

Earth is conquered by the Galra Empire, but the Blade of Marmora helps humanity fight back. They also take in a few human orphans and raise them as Blades. As kids, Lance, Shiro, Hunk, Keith and Pidge lose their families in the aftermath of Galra rule but find a new home among the Blade of Marmora. (Blade of Marmora raises the Paladins AU.)
