What I hate about fanfics:

Guys this is going to be a long rant. Hmm what I don’t like about fanfics, haven’t thought about it much but here are things form the top of my head.

POOR USE OF GRAMMAR!!!

This is particularly my most hated thing about fanfics. They include incorrect uses of words, phrases, bad translations and most of all poorly structured sentences. This may be because they rush to have their chapters posted without proof reading first. In fact it could also be because they themselves are unfamiliar with the English language. It’s even worse when they try to implement Japanese words and phrases into to their stories and I just cringe at the sight of it.

To help you guys out here’s some Japanese 101. First and for most, the Japanese DON’T pluralize their nouns. Therefore the plural of jutsu is jutsu (NOT JUTSUS). When giving a name of a jutsu, you cannot use a combination of Japanese and English as it doesn’t make sense in either language. For example, Fire Style: Gokkakyu no Justu doesn’t work. I also hate when they use the Japanese preposition ‘no’ (which means of in most cases in Japanese) when they areleady stated the justu name in English. For example, when u say ‘Fire Style: Grand Fire Ball no jutsu’, you are saying Fire Style: Grand Fire Ball jutsu of technique WHICH DOESN’T MAKE A FUCK SENCE IN EITHER LANGUAGE. People forget that when you start a sentence with a certain grammar style, you must maintain that style throughout the sentence. U cannot implement both. Therefore, using my above example, the correct statement would be either Fire Style: Grand Fireball Jutsu or Katon: Gokkakyu no jutsu. Also what people forget is that YOU DON’T TRANSLATE PROPER NOUNS (self explanatory)

UNFAIR CHARACTER BASHING

This is also a thing I hate about fanfics. For, Example in Naruto, everyones favorite bashing target is Sasuke. Not that I like him or anything but people take it too far. They make him seem like this Asshole who only longs for power to kill his brother and will stop at nothing to achieve that goal. And they are like so what his family got killed big deal his just a prick. What people don’t understand is THEY ARE THE ONE WHO ARE ASSHOLES. They can say anything because they haven’t been through half of what he has. This is the main difference between him and Naruto. Some say its better to have non love and lost it than to have not known love at all. That’s bullshit if you ask me. If u never had love then you won’t know to miss it. Sasuke spent the early portions of his life around his family. The massacre happened when he was 6 while his personality was developing (It develops at 7). He witnessed his family being murdered by someone he loved and trusted dearly, his own brother. A very destating scene like that in the most important time of his psychological development is bound to leave unhealable scars. In fact it is this scene that has defined him and it will be with him till the day he dies. He is an Avenger. More on that later on.

Also the unfair bashing of Sakura. Come on guys give her a brake. In fact I can bet that many of you girls out there are guilty of this. Sasuke Is like the Alpha male. And who to the girls lust for THE ALPHA MALE. So Of Course she would crush on sasuke and ignore everyone else (not just Naruto). Also everyone considered Naruto to be a nuisance (except Hinata of course) so they ignored him. And you peoplem also for got this. SHE WAS 12!!!! So it doesn’t matter if she appeared shallow. Its now that she has matured she has realized that she has been treating naruto unfairly.
