![]() Name; Promenius Gender; Male Age; 22 Occupation; Student Hobbies; Fanfiction, drawing/painting, gaming About myself; I'm a fairly big guy. And by that I mean I could do with a little bit more excercising, hehe. Still, I'm comfortable with my own size, and my friends like me for who I am, so it's not like I'm in a big hurry to change my lifestyle. I'm studying to become a teacher, and it's pretty hard work. My favourite games: Battle Realms (my absolute favourite) Legacy of Kain series Neverwinter Nights 2 (Especially the MotB expansion) Baldur's Gate series Mass Effect series Crysis series World of Warcraft My favourite movies: Lord of the Rings Star Wars Mall Rats My favourite anime/manga: Naruto One Piece Bleach Fairy Tail Vinland Saga Berserk Full Metal Alchemist Hellsing Drifters Fanfiction pet peeves; I generally don't like yaoi. Maybe it's because I'm straight and a guy, but I personally think it's just because most yaoi stories are written for no other reason than some fangirl wanting to "see that cute person with another cute person because they're so cute together!!11! OMG SQUEEE!1!" I don't have anything against people wiriting it, nor do I have anything against anyone who likes it. I just get uncomfortable reading about it, that's all. And yet at the same time, I have nothing against yuri. Bit of hypocrisy belonging to the average horny male, methinks. Hehe. Whenever I read stories about Naruto, I always like to take into account how the world they live in works. "Ninjas exist, GOGOGO" seems to be the precedent Kishimoto has establised in the Naruto world. That's his right, of course, but me, I like to take other things into account. Like, why aren't the Shinobi rulers of the world? Why do they listen to the daimyo? Going by the canon numbers of shinobi, they seem to rule the world they live in, in all but name. AND YET AT THE SAME TIME; they need the "permission" of the daimyo to really do anything major. What the heck? Also, the numbers of the shinobi and samurai forces in canon are just -too much- for me to blindly accept. 80,000?! EIGHTY THOUSAND SHINOBI!? Jesus Christ. You won't be seeing that many shinobi in any of -my- potential stories, that's for sure. That's because I like to think of the Shinobi as -Elite- Mercenaries. Relatively few in number, but still powerful enough to present a threat. But in no way would the Shinobi on their own be enough to conquer the Elemental Nations. |
