![]() Author has written 13 stories for Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Titanic, and Pirates of the Caribbean. I've never posted a challenge before, but I want to challenge someone to write a My Fair Lady Fic longer than then 10,000 words. The winner will be whoever creates the most original but not ridiculous storyline, and who keeps everyone in character. Well, I don't know how many takers I'll have, but I wanted to see a few of these and I'm sure there are others who share my wish. GO!!!! -8/8/07 NOTE: A Little Extra Air was not coming out to my liking, so I am taking it off, rewriting it, and putting it back on when it's ready. If you really liked it, I'm sorry, but it shall be so much better when it's back on again. Cheers! Hey!!!! I'm just another one of your long time fanfic...fans. My name is Anne, but I often go by Annie. Full name Anne Sophia Carmicale. I am 14 years old. My birthday is November 9th, I live in Charlottesville( scratch that! we moved to Bethesda), and have three siblings. Micah is three, Michelle is two, and Alaine is 17. I have a hamster named Harrison, and two weiner dogs names Mimi and Duchess. Oh!!! And I got a chihuhua for Christmas!!! Her name is Belle!!! See? Anne and Belle! Annabelle! I love classic literature, especially Jane Austen, and especially Pride and Prejudice. I do a lot of pet sitting, and my hobbies include reading, writing, reading, dancing, reading, and reading. I do a lot of that. I'm a huge romantic sap, but I hate cliches and cheesy poems. I go to the library a lot, and often stay for hours. I am always open for new vocab words, and I play the flute for the marching band, (I skipped a grade). I am a huge Harry Potter fan, and have seen all the movies as well as read all the books a million times. One of my favorite books is by Ted Dekker, called Blink. It's so cool! You should definately read it. Plus, it's a good Christian novel, which makes it a lot better!!! My favorite color is pink, my favorite movie is Pride and Prejudice, with Duplex coming in at second. My best friend's name is Rebecca, and some of my other friends include Rachel, Amy, Maria, and Danielle. Anyway, I am an aspiring author, so please feel free to critique, (as long as it's clean!) and give me any idea for improvements. I do NOT like foul language, or adult themes, so, my writing is strictly K+...maybe teen. R&R and enjoy!!!! I hate summaries about me. There's so much to tell, and I'm overwhelmed. Let's just say I don't lead a boring life. I'm brainstorming ideas for an actual book, so if you have any suggestions, let me know. I know I write a ton of stories, but at least I update them all, right? My favorite I think, is I Owe You All, but I have the benefit of peeking ahead at chapters, don't I? All Aboard seems to be the most loved, but I only have a great liking, not a love as I do with IWYA and TMWFIL. I think The Man Who Fell in Love has great potential, although I admit (gasp!) I don't have much of a plan for it, other than what I already have. Yikes!!! And to think you people depend on me. I am truly horrid in that aspect, but hey! You guys could always contribute...(sly smile) Love ya'll!!!!! Lady Annabelle Quotes "Your boyfriend looks like a rug." -Amy to Rachel, about her boyfriend Stephen "Why do we see more clearly in dreams, than when the imiganation is awake?" -Leonardo da Vinci, aka One Smart Dude "Oh, Canada! The place I hope to never call my home!" - Danielle, after a visit to Canada, where the airport lost all her luggage, a homeless guy stole her wallet out of her purse, and a native plant gave her a rash that bedrid her for a week and a half. "You must learn some of my philosophy- think only of the past as its rememberance gives you pleasure." Elizabeth Bennet, female role model and lucky duck. I mean, really! Where did Mr. Darcy go? I've been looking for him, only to find she's already taken him! "Let's say your an idiot, and let's say your a member of congress. But I repeat myself." Mark Twain "Book lovers will understand me, and they will know too that part of the pleasure of a library lies in its very existence." -Jan Morris, man this girl can read me like a book (excuse the pun)! That is the closest quote to me than any other I've ever heard. "My book and my heart must never part." -Someone said this, but I am too stupid to know who, so give the credit to them! "What is this?!?! A center for ants? The building needs to be... at least three times bigger than this." This has got to be the funniest line in American movie history. Derek Zoolander, when Mugatu shows him a small model of, The Derek Zoolander Center For Kids Who Can't Read Good, and Want To Learn to do Other Stuff Good Too. Classic. "Homeeeeeeeestar is running. Along. Homeeeeeeeestar is running. Along." Duh. Homestar. "I knew I should have gone with the fluffy cloud border. Those things never let you down." Strong Bad, after his "Dreamail" was thwarted by Homestar. It's the pink border's fault. L: If you were my husband, I'd poison your tea! C:If I were your husband, I'd drink it! Sir Winston Churchill, conversing with a lady who obviously hated him. No survivors? Then where did all the stories come from , I wonder? -Captain Jack Sparrow Will: You want me to find this? Jack: No. You want you to find this. Up is down. Now that's just maddeningly unhelpful! (I love Jack Sparrow! I love Jack Sparrow! I LOVE JACK SPARROW!!!!!!) And then they made me their cheif. - Who else but Jack? Reccomendations If you like Pride and Prejudice, I suggest the following books ~Darcy's Story ~An Assembly Such as This, (Fitzwilliam Darcy, Gentleman series) ~Duty and Desire (Fitzwilliam Darcy, Gentleman series. Not my fave, but it is a bridge) ~These Three Remain (Fitzwilliam Darcy, Gentleman series. Last book, and my fave!!) ~Lady Catherine's Necklace (I haven't read it yet, but it's in my room. Checked it out from the library) If you like Emma, (which I don't) I suggest ~Jane Fairfax My Favorites (I have more, but you can't expect me to know them all!!!) Books ~Pride and Prejudice (duh!) ~Mansfield Park ~Sense and Sensibility ~Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban ~Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince ~These Three Remain ~Blink ~Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants : The Third Summer of the Sisterhood ~Series of Unfortunate Events (all) ~Anne of Green Gables (all but Anne of Windy Poplars which I loathe with a passion) ~Wuthering Heights (alas, it is a tad confusing, but very good!) ~The Face on the Milk Carton ~The Ransom of Mercy Carter ~All American Girl (NOT the second one!!! I'm perfectly content with the first, thank you very much) ~Tuck Everlasting ~Phantom of the Opera ~Thr3e Movies ~Titanic ~Grease ~Pride and Prejudice ~Sense and Sensibility ~Ever After ~Duplex ~Series of Unfortunate Events (I, like many others I know, are waiting for the sequel!) ~Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants ~Hoodwinked (it's hysterical!) ~Mission Impossible Three ~Pirates of the Caribbean (can't wait for the third!!!) ~Super Man Returns ~Kicking and Screaming ~Elf ~Zoolander (minus that one creepy scene) ~Tuck Everlasting ~Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl ~Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest ~Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End ~Phantom of the Opera TV shows ~What Not to Wear ~Suite Life of Zack and Cody ~American Idol Well, that's me in a nutshell. More like a hubcap. See ya!!! Story ideas: Suddenly Seventies: A Titanic fic that is set in the seventies. You ask, Why the seventies? Great music!!! Duh!!! Why else would I choose it? For the clothes!!!! I don't think so!!! The Five People You Meet In Heaven: Also a Titanic fic, about the five people Rose meets in heaven when she dies. Based on the book, The Five People You meet in Heaven, but with different lessons and different people. Would you guys email me, and tell me which you like better? Oh, and real fast, I wanna point out a common misunderstanding. When Rose and Jack are in the water, Rose isn't on a door. She is on, (this is wierd) the front of a fireplace. But how romantic is that? I don't say "as she lay serenly on the top of the fireplace". I myself, say, "as she lay serenly on the door". My sister pointed this out to me, when we were watching it. Toodles!!! For you close observers, and POTC fans, in the second movie, when Will and Jack and the crew of the Black Pearl visit Tia Dalma's hut, you can see a locket identical to Davy Jones's sitting on one of her tables. Of course, she does have it in the third movie, but in the second it's right there in your face, and you never know to look for it! Guys. A petpeeve of mine. Lose and loose are not the same thing. Loose, would be to loosen something. To lose would be to not be able to find, to be beaten, etc. So. For future reference, your characters do not loose their love. They lose their love. Just- sorry. I'm a perfectionist in my spare time. |
