Jane won't spend another family vacation with just family, thanks to Dr. Maura Isles. The M.E. finds herself a part of the family's 4th of July festivities while Jane has a chance to see her family in new light. Newly un-jaded and with the aid of Maura, Jane rediscovers how strong her familial ties bind while finding herself and love held deep within, all during a weekend out.

With a baby on their doorstep and a whole bunch of Rizzoli family drama to deal with, Jane and Maura struggle to find ways to cope with their jobs and being new parents. Rizzles but it'll get there a little slower than I'd hoped. M for later chapters.
