![]() Author has written 3 stories for How to Train Your Dragon. Welcome all, I am the one who purifies the chaos and malice in the world... Hahahah, I can never keep a straight face. No, anyway I'm not gonna tell you my name, paranoid. So, I'm a kid at heart and I decided to make an account for myself after reading fanfics for almost a year. I'm a major How to Train Your Dragon fan, and I don't hate any film that Disney makes, even the terrible ones. I don't like when I'm following a story, I find out it was updated, but it was only a tiny author's note. I try to avoid that, but if I can't and it comes to that, i'd give the readers a sneak peek. I'd describe my writing style as well done, but I try to leave tiny references and gags for my readers to notice. When I right O/C's I like to combine traits from characters in other media, because I want to give fans from different fandoms someone to like. I only do one story at a time, but i would do a side project like one-shot series just for more detail. Fandoms I belong to: How to Train your Dragon: Like I said, major fan. I saw the first movie, loved it immediately. I didn't get to read the books until about a year ago, but they were enjoyable. One of the reason I love the franchise is how real everything is, you know, for a movie series, television show, and MMO. But the writers make sure that there is something realistic and relatable in every character or dragon. There are somethings that I don't understand, like why does a Boneknapper needs a bone to roar, why do Speed Stingers look like dinosaurs, how come a Fireworm Queen is like a million times larger than the normal ones, and how does Astrid know what a gun is (Seriously, in an episode of Race to the Edge she said the word 'guns', granted she didn't mean it like guns today, but the fact that she said that just confuses me), but I can make theories for that. Yu-Gi-Oh!: I'm not really a major anime geek, but I do like Yu-Gi-Oh! Now, I only plan on doing HTTYD stories, but maybe I'll make a Yu-Gi-Oh AU, who knows. My favorite series is ARC-V, although I am not a person who hates stuff, if I dislike something, it's because I had to get down to the niddy-gritty (Although things like that movie based on Avatar The Last Airbender I dislike because it is just so hard not to hate). Once Upon a Time: Favorite live-action show, call me a sucker for fairy-tales brought to life. I'm not saying who may favorite character is because when you have a fandom with large amounts of passion like Oncers, they will be all over you if you say something that they disagree on. But, disagreements aside, the show is enjoyable and ican be watched. Pokemon: Apart from the haters, who doesn't like Pokemon? And before someone says that the franchise is bad, then explain why the franchise has lasted twenty-years. I stick to the main series games, the anime has been on way too long. I'm very hyped for Sun and Moon, they look very promising, especially since there has been so much revealed. Remember when we were complaining about Gamefreak not telling us anything, well now its hard to keep track of everything. I'm picking Sun, solely because I like lions more than bats. As for the starter, not saying anything on that topic because then people will be all over me. More coming soon... Stories (Status) Dragon Nations: AU inspired by a series called Magi-Nation (On HIATUS) Stories of a Dragon Nation: Dragon Nation AU One-Shots (side project, updates are random) HTTYD: Hailstorm: O/C retelling of How to Train Your Dragon (In-Progress) Opinions on: Shipping: I don't tell people what anything when it comes to shipping. There are three things you should never tell people because it is an easy way to get people to hate you: Opinions on Politics, religion and fan shipping pairs, (I've seen the MEMES). O/C Characters: I tend to avoid stories with O/Cs because they end up being used in a way that rubs me the wrong way. I'll explain, I don't have a problem with O/Cs, it's a nice way to bring something different... if they are the focus in the story. If the O/C is in every chapter, be it a little scene or their name inserted into a line of dialogue that wasn't about them, then it just feels like they're being overused. I don't have this problem when the O/C is the main character and they are the focus, but if the story is a retelling of a film or series and the O/C is not the main focus character, then to me, they feel like a creator's pet. Then there is the problem of using the same O/C in multiple stories that aren't one-shots or sequels to the story they debuted in. I think that when using an O/C in a story that is not about them is to use them as a side character. Use them to support the plot, but don't put them in every chapter and give them lines of dialogue that weren't theirs in the first place, especially if the story is a retelling of a series and one chapter is a retelling of a specific character focused episode. I'm sorry if you disagree but that's just how I see it; in a fan version retelling, unless they are the main character, don't use them in every single chapter, let them be absent once in a while so that way they don't end up being overused.
