Author has written 4 stories for Shaman King, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Hey, guys.:) Name's Erigger. Well...that's not actually my real name (obviously), and I actually just made it up (it popped into my head out of nowhere) but...what the heck.:)) It's my pen name. Last time I've checked, I've had a total of three pen names in this writing site already. First was "Yami the king of games" (or something to that extent). When I stopped "drooling" over the plotlines of Yu-Gi-Oh! five years ago, I changed my pseudonym to "Great Teacher Dylan", 'cause I was pretty much a sucker for the teacher anime, "GTO". Then came "Kazuo Toshiro", which is actually the Japanese counterpart of my real name (at least, that's what one "what's your japanese name" quiz said). After...uhh...two--three years of absence from Fanfiction.net, I eventually changed my pen name to Erigger, which is my name now. Anyway, I've got bad news. Well...just one though, but it won't sound good to some. I'm not gonna be writing fanfictions anymore. Yup, I'm serious. Dead serious. Which means...I'm not exactly a FF author anymore...just a reader, to be honest. The reason? Well...I'm kinda really busy writing my own original novel. Not telling you what it's about...but...it got me pretty busy and I'm determined to finish it, whatever it takes. I'm obsessively hooked to the plot (of my own story) and it's taking up a lot of my time, and well...my life.:)) Hahaha. It just means a lot to me, to be honest with you. So, yeah. That's that. But, no worries. I'm always hanging around this place (or this site), just for fun and entertainment. Sometimes, for some inspiration. Everybody's creations help me a lot in many ways than one. Honestly...Fanfiction.net is a huge help to my novel, since the stories put me into the best writing mood possible and I get ideas and inspiration from every author's storytelling and dialogue techniques. So...last words for every author out there (especially in this site)...thanks so much! Thanks for what? :) For writing your stories for everybody to read and get inspiration from.:) See ya. Short update, guys. For some of you who keep track of my updates and what I've been saying here (which I'm sure is second to none), you might say I lied about not writing fanfictions anymore, 'cause I just published a story for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney a couple of days ago. Well...to clear stuff up, I didn't lie at all. I wrote "The Master's Sentinel" almost a year ago, and I failed to post it here because I didn't want to publish a fanfic I wasn't sure I could finish. But then...I started writing my book. My novel. I don't want to brag, but let's just say it's going awesome, and a selected group of people are reading it. The PW fanfic I wrote is similar to my original fiction, in terms of the voice and writing style. Well...almost similar. I'm proud to say that my skill as a writer has progressed dramatically over the years, so...technically, I write differently now. But, still, I want to know what people think of my previous writing style, and if they found it light and engaging, so I posted it here. Two of my biggest problems now as an author are (1) writer's block, definitely, and (2) my annoying tendency to turn my story into a boring, dragging piece of crap. I'm reading up on my literature (Ernest Hemingway, anyone? Jack London?) and I've also been keeping up with today's modern literary works like Twilight and, Angels and Demons (though, they're not really much help to my second problem, since, with all due respect, they just make it worse than it already is.). I'm looking into various writing styles and voices as of the moment, so if people happen to like "The Master's Sentinel" type of writing, then that would most certainly help me with my author dilemmas. So, yeah. I encourage those who're reading it (but too lazy to review) to review. I said it there: don't matter if it's negative, I'll take it all in. But please. No flaming. Unless you've got a good reason to do that, I'm gonna have to report you for improper conduct and behavior. Seriously. Now enough with that. "The Master's Sentinel" could probably be the last fanfic I'll be submitting to the Net, so please REVIEW! I'd appreciate your comments and criticisms, lots. Catch you later, Erigger P.S. Recently, I've published a sneak chapter (or two--it's kind of ongoing) of a sequel to New boys, New love and new...can't remember the last one. It's been a long time since I wrapped that fic up. I'm going to try to inform all readers of Takeshi's original story about the sequel. Let me know what you guys think. Your reviews will determine if that sequel's gonna live to be a full chaptered story, complete with a happy ending. If it's going to have a happy ending, that is. The existence of the sequel lies on your reviews, so please, please don't forget to scroll down and click the Review button! Thanks much! |
