Author has written 1 story for Twilight.

I'm Carlyn (that's pronounced Car-Lynn). I love to write. I have way too many projects that I'm working on, it's sad really. But it's difficult not to start another one when I have about a million characters in my head, shouting at me to tell their story. Still, I manage. ;) My favorite fan fiction to write is Twilight fan fiction. I think it's because I've gotten very close to the characters while reading. I am trying to expand my writing variety, and my writing quality. Any constructive criticism is helpful. Please don't be mean when you're trying to help though. I've had some very rude critiques on my writing before, and they've never helped. So be gentle, but please, not too gentle. As a fellow writer, I hope you enjoy my story I've posted on here (Newborn: The Untold Story of Riley Biers), and any others that I may post in the future.

So, more about me: I'm sixteen. I love God, writing, music, and reading. I'm incredibly silly. I day dream...all the time. I'm constantly lost in thought, even when it seems like I can carry on a conversation. But when someone asks me what I'm thinking about, I always answer "Nothing much." I have a poetic mind and a quiet voice. I always think it's funny (in a really annoying way) when someone tries to show me a band/song that I knew about years/months before them. I'm a music freak, literally, a freak about music. You don't even want to hear my thoughts on it, it may drive you away. I am very loyal. My friends and family mean the more to me than anything else in this world. I vow to myself never to leave them, even if they leave me. I'd be waiting in the wings, because I keep the promises I had made once upon a time. I want to be able to pick up and dust off those who are hurting. I'm dedicated to my dreams, and I won't let anyone tell me that I can't follow them. I'm currently a junior at a Christian school. I'm working on creating myself. I have a very loud laugh. I hate seeing people being treated badly. I want to make a difference in someone's life. I love trees, mountains, the beach, rain, people's natural beauty, the smell of books, colors, flip flops, school, movies, lazy days, quoting people, and texting. It is my dream to become a published author. I would love to meet Stephenie Meyer and my FACs! (If you're curious as to what FAC is, and you're a Twilight fan, please tell me! It's totally awesome, I'd be glad to share, and I know you'd have tons of fun with it.) Quite honestly, I had not become a reading addict until sometime last year. But ever since then, I've found that things I've once held near and dear to me (such as the television, haha) are hardly incorporated in my daily routine. So, yeah, reading and writing addict. Oh, and tacos. Tacos are the bomb. :D

Quotes:

"I love holding a book and knowing that I have knowledge, imagination, and creativity in my hands. It's just a matter of deciding to open it up and read."

"The writer who possesses the creative gift owns something which he is not always master- something that, at times, strangely wills and works for itself. He may lay down rules and devise principles, and to rules and principles it will perhaps for years lie in subjection; and then, haply without any warning of revolt, there comes a time when it will no longer consent to 'harrow the valleys, or be bound with a band in the furrow' - when it 'laughs at the multitude of the city, and regards not the crying of the driver' - when, refusing absolutely to make ropes out of sea-sand any longer, it sets to work on statue-hewing, and you have a Pluto or a Jove, a Tisiphone or a Psyche, a Mermaid or a Madonna, as Fate or Inspiration direct. Be the work grim or glorious, dread or divine, you have no choice left but quiescent adoption. As for you - the nominal artist - your share in it has been to work passively under dictates you neither delivered nor could question - that would not be uttered at your prayer, nor suppressed nor changed at your caprice. If the result be attractive, the World will praise you, who little deserve praise; if it be repulsive, the same World will blame you, who almost as little deserve the blame.” (Wuthering Heights: Editor's Preface)

"Never give in... never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force.. never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy." - Winston Churchill
