AAM (All About ME)

Uh...not much to say here O_o. I'm a girl, I live in Canada (and no, I don't live in an igloo or hunt polar bears), and everyday I attend this thing called school, which I've been doing for about 12 years now...

My Interests

Interests? Don't got too many. Just like my over-analyzing, my favourites list changes more often than the average person changes their underwear. However, three things on the list will never change: I am in love with the internet (if only it were a person T-T), my favourite food is seasoned fried chicken and baked potatoes (I gave up caring about my health a few years ago), and I simply cannot get enough of the Arizona green tea drink (even if I'm up half the night, unable to fall asleep).

Music? I'm not a big fan of american rap, but I am a big fan of Korean pop music.

I love watching dramas (soaps included), especially tear-jerkers. Among my all-time favourite melodramas are: Golden Bride (I cried myself dry watching this), Boys Before Flowers (the Korean version; Taiwanese version was good too), and You're Beautiful (started out as a hilarious comedy, then became "DRAMA!!"). Western shows: Heroes, Lie to me, Dollhouse, House, and the few episodes of Glee that I've seen. Soaps: As the world turns, All my children.

Anime:
- DEATH NOTE!! (A must watch for any anime fan...that's all I gotta say)
- Code Geass (...meh, I liked it in the beginning but I lost interest)
- Gundam SEED (as with most, this one was much better than it's sequel; some might say it was slower, but the plot was more evident, especially towards the end; SEED Destiny was like this plot recycle and accidently (or purposely) got mutated in the process, making the end product action-y but lacking other wise)
- Gundam SEED Destiny (if you actually took the time to analyze this, you'd see that it's...not very good, plot-wise, but very much addictive)
- Tsubasa Chronicles
- Ouran High School Host Club (currently in my top 3; subject to change)
- Witch Hunter Robin (again, very addictive)
- Digimon (Adventures and 02 are my favourite; Savers was pretty good as well, minus the fact that later it became somewhat incoherent; Tamers was too dark; and Frontiers was just plain crappy -_-"")
- Neon Genesis Evangalion (I always say that this is on my favourites list yet I've never actually finished the entire series =S)
- Sailor Moon Stars (my fandom with Sailor Moon is interesting because I was once obessed with it (when I was naïve and still thought english-dubbed-anything was okay to watch -_-"") then obviously it wanned, and when I stumbled upon it again, I decided to just watch the series that was never dubbed (Stars) and thank goodness it wasn't because they would've aired some totally butchered version that made no sense due to the fact that a good chunk of the plot would have to be cut to make it "child-friendly"!!)
- Fruits Basket (T-T became surprisingly dark towards the end; the main character is your stereotypical sugar-coated protagonist who can do no wrong and every man who meets her falls in love because of her "innocence", but the actually plot seem to deal alot with psychological abuse and the consequences of a person's actions even if they were done out of mistaken anger and subsequent revenge)
- Cardcaptor Sakura (Lmao, I first watched this series dubbed and I can't believe I didn't pick up on this: apparently, in the US, the show was marketed towards boys (which is the reason why the title became just Cardcaptors because they thought Cardcaptor Sakura was too girlish); I wish I had a time machine so I could go back and actually watch the marketing and advertising for the show to see if it really was trying to have a boyish slant XDDDD)

Movies! Well...I've seen alot of movies and I think they're all decent in some ways (I read these review online that mention all this stuff about character in consistency, no plot, over-reliance on CG effects, poor acting of whatsherface, etc... and I sit in front of my computer going, "??" I don't see how people can be so nit-picky about something that took alot of effort (okay, some more than others), so when I go to the movies, I resolve to put my brain aside and just enjoy something for what it is, even if it turned out to be 2-hours of my life better speant that I'm never gonna get back).

Game? Maple Story (obviously)!! Although, I don't play much anymore. If you wanna find me, look for Chocollora (my main Cleric), HazelFlynn (my secondary Blaze Wizard), and JaneRoe (my muel Wind Archer). I also play Gunz (again, not so much anymore); you can look for me under Azura_Sky. For a while I was on EVE, but I gave up on that as quickly as I picked it up. I read somewhere that the average playing time for die-hards was like 17 hours per week (or around 2.5 hours a day), and I don't know about you, but I don't have two and a half hours to commit every night (there's that thing called homework that I have to finish or else I'm in hot waters)

Future?

Still writing, even if my free time has been cut considerably...
