Well,hello there! I'm Sophie and writing is one of my favourite creative past times. I've heard about Fanfiction.net before and decided to give it a shot,so,here I am.

I love to read other peoples' work and use ideas to create my own. English is one of my favourite subjects, as so that I decided to take an English Literature course at college. To me,writing is a way to express one's self and to capture emotion with the scenes described. I don't believe in all this "I can't write,I'm really bad at it." Anyone can write, all you need is a pencil,a notepad and a little creativity.

I'm eighteen years old, five foot six inches with light blonde hair and hazel eyes. I'm quite an outgoing and funloving person but I do tend to stick with my close friends rather than mixing with other people. Some of my favourite hobbies are writing, drawing, listening to music, creating movies and playing video games. I'm extremely protective of my family and friends, and would do absolutely anything for them. My biggest ambition would probably have to be succeeding in my dream career of a forensic investigator, and then emmigrating to the States to live in a nice house with my family. I'm not really much of a girly girl, even though I do wear the odd touch of makeup. I'd probably consider myself 75 percent tomboy, and 25 percent girly girl.

One of my favourite authors has got to be J.K Rowling. I absolutely adore her style of writing and how she presents her characters to the reader. Harry Potter was a huge part of my childhood, and even today, I still idolise the richly crafted stories, which are still well known around the world. The emotions in her books truly show what friendship and bravery is all about, so we can learn valuable lessons from them. I have also read Lemony Snicket's "A Series of Unfortunate Events" which was also another fantastic read. The most powerful novel I have ever read would probably have to be "The Collector" by John Fowles, because even after finishing the story, I started to realise apparent emotion and psychological disturbances displayed by one of the main characters which I failed to see whilst reading. The tale is expertly told and actually questions as to whether, we the reader, do truly understand the extent of how manipulative and twisted that the atmosphere is.

Along with reading, I enjoy movies quite a lot, and some of my favourites are "The Shawshank Redemption", "The Lion King", "Titanic", "Sucker Punch" and "Holes". Whenever I have nothing to do, I usually watch a movie to try and pass the time.

So that's just a little incite about me. I write stories whenever I have the time, but I have a pretty busy lifestyle at the moment so it may be the odd chapter here and there. Anyway, I look forward to reading into some hardcore fanfics and sharing my own. After all, this site is where you can unleash your imagination,isn't it?
