My screen name Forest Maiden, is a significant part of my own thoughts and is often shown in my stories. I found this ledgend once and it intriged me. Perhaphs it will you too.

I love anime and I'm always looking for suggestions on my stories so review!

Yu Yu Hakusho is my all time favorite anime. Followed closely by Wolf's Rain. And my new favorite Full Metal Alchemist. I have written many fanfics about Yu Yu Hakusho and a few about Wolf's Rain. However being me I have not posted them until recently. I usually get cold feet at the last minute. I am not great with continual stories but I'm trying my best here people! Really I am. But anyway being a huge anime fan I of course have favorites. Here you go!

Favorite Characters

Full Metal Alchemist -- Edward
Yu Yu Hakusho -- Kurama (But Hiei is very cool too.)
Wolf's Rain -- Kiba (Tsume's great too)
Fushigi Yugi -- Gotta be Tausuki, I love that guy! Don't forget Chichiri though! He's cool too.
Inuyasha -- Koga followed closely by Sesshomaru.
Princess Mononoke -- An exceedingly good movie. I'm so much like San it's almost scary. Although I was not brought up by wolves. (No matter how much I wish I was ~wink~)
Digimon -- Matt and then Sora (I only like the first season the second was ok.)
Trigun -- Vash he's so funny!
Cowboy Bebop -- Definetly Ed you just have to love Ed!
Witch Hunter Robin -- Robin and Michael
Hana Yori Dango -- Finally finished the series! They make such a cute couple.
Fruits Basket -- Torhu and Kyo they make such a cute couple!

Yu Yu Hakusho
Kurama x OC-Kurama and Hiei should never go together! Never Ever Ever! Although strange as this is I prefer them to ~shudders~ KuramaXBotan coupling, also the newest coupling I've seen around KuramaXKagome (from Inuyasha) also creeps me out. I'm sorry, but I just can't see them together. Nope, not happening. I know for a fact that later in the series Hiei gets a girlfriend so it's immpossible. And Kurama had a girlfriend before the series even started. So there :P

Note: The other day I was browsing through the Yu Yu Hakusho stories trying to get some ideas, or help my creativity flow I suppose. However I was looking at review numbers, just out of curiousity. What's sad though is most stories with 20,000 + words (I usually look at those because most lame stories are abondoned and don't reach that many words.), only had 100 reviews or less. The few that dud have 400-600 reviews were all Yaoi, Hiei x Kurama coupling. I just found it dissapointing is all...

Also, if you want to read another great story with a very unique coupling check out Alcestis.
It's a Nakago x Miaka coupling, but it's is wonderfully written, she has a way to bring the two most unlikely charcters together in a witty, and elegant manor. You won't be dissapointed.

Special Mention: What truly inspired me to read and forever more enjoy Digimon fanfiction is an author by the name of Koori Chan. She vanished before some of her stories were finished. It made me terribly sad when she stopped writing, but luckily I printed out some of her work and still enjoy re-reading it sometimes. "Fire and Ice" is probably the most wonderful Digimon story I have ever read, she has, and continues to inspire me.

Note: I read many different types of stories and will leave random reviews. Not many Yu Yu Hakusho fanfics are on my story listing, because I'm very picky about such stories. I'm so sick of looking through the thousands of Yu Yu Hakusho fanfics that are generally all about some random girl that either comes out of Youko's past and he falls/ refalls in love with her immediatly. Or some random girl who he meets and falls head over heels in love with the second he sees her. NO! It takes time to fall in love people. In certin shows with certin couplings you don't need much description, because it was obious in the series. However when you bring a OC character into a story you need to describe, and show how they meet and get to know one another and let them slowly fall in love.

Now with my Cinderella story I don't get much chance to do this, because that's the way it generally happens in Cinderella. I'm not a hypocrite, it's just I'm following a different storyline and don't get the oppertunity to go into a lot of detail with the romance. Sorry, but that's the way it goes.

Editing Stories:

Recently I havn't been finding much inspiration to write as much, though I still find myself activly reading and reviewing fanfiction. I can't help it! I was thinking perhaps maybe I could help out others and edit? ~Shrugs~ If anyone is interested. However, I do warn before you contact me. I am slow. I take my time reading it out, trying to add lots of detail and checking always for spelling and grammer. However if you're still interested send me a e-mail. Future Story Ideas:

I've been busy writing my Cinderella Story, however after I finish it or catch a writing block with it I've been thinking of trying to write my first Digimon story. It's sort of just in the throught process right now, but as it goes I'm thinking along these lines:

Sora, leader of a rebellious group. Left alone for many years through the protection of her father, the king. However recently deceased his advisor takes the throne and wants her and her 'gang' gone for good. Taichi's her number 2 and Matt is sent out after her as an assasin. Well, hehe, I think you can figure out what happens.

Again just in the thought process, but I might jot down a bit more as it comes along.

Status on stories:

A Cinderella Story: Chapter 4 : I am about two pages into the story, but looking back at my previous chaperts this one is gonna be a little while longer before it's posted. Most of my chapters are only about four pages on word, and frankly I feel that's not enough. From here on out I'm going to try and make my chapters 5-6 pages long before posting. So it will take longer, but they'll be longer.

The Forest Maiden's Apprentice: Chapter 3: It's on the way, finished writing it, however it once again needs a a re-read/edit, however A Cinderella is my first priority and will most likely be finished first.

Status on poems:

Those I just post on occasion or whenever I write down something good. Sometimes a touching review inspires me to write more too. ~hint hint~
