Favorite Movies: LOTR series, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, the Percy Jackson movies sucked so I live with that constant disappointment, Tombstone, and a bunch of comedy movies that no one else finds funny but my dad.

I am currently a freshman at the University of Missouri-Columbia (Mizzou), am studying Communications and I am planning to double-minor in history and Russian. Along with English, I also am nearly fluent in Spanish, and I am studying about 6 other languages, including German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Swedish, and as aforementioned, Russian.

I got into writing just because creative writing is something that has always come naturally to me. It is one of those skills that no one really has the opportunity to see. It's not like art where you can paint a portrait and the entire world can see it and look on it in awe. Writing is a different form of art. You do not paint the picture; you create the picture and only those who want to see it can look on in awe and wonder. This is not to say art is worse than writing. It's just I have always sucked at actual art and I am impressed by those who have that talent.

My writing style has been described as...well...different. I have always been one to talk to the reader. For instance, I am doing it right now, when writing this autobio. I write as though I am talking to a close friend and recapping events for them. This is both an advantage and a curse. On one hand, it really helps me in the journalism field because readers feel as though I am talking directly to them as an equal and people really like that in a reporter. However, in fanfiction writing, this makes it more difficult to write dramas or action because I cannot easily convey the image I see in my head into words. That is why whenever I actually have a conversation with people, I sometimes have a hard time getting my point across because I am trying to describe what I see in my head rather than tell the story. I never do much description in writing because I am not very good at it.

A few more irrelevant things about me to cap off this autobio: I love animals. I have a shitzu/beagle named Sadie and she is my baby, and if you PM me about her, I will send you countless photos. I like baseball and hockey but promise never to mention that because a lot of writers aren't sports fans. My favorite food is chicken, my favorite season is fall, and my pet peeve is when someone makes a conversation a competition.
