![]() 2-12-2011 I am now working full time again. Yay! For the stories that I review, your writing is awesome. If it wasn't I wouldn't say anything unless there was an issue that really bothered me and the general plot seemed to have promise. Hi everyone out there. My name is Naomi and I want to visit the UK at some point in my life. I am 23. You don't need to know anything else about me because I am one of those boring people who have no life. I Read, Knit, embroider, I Work (or I would work if I had a job at the moment(Update, I start my job on Sunday night 10/10/10)), and I Sleep. I feel no need for a relationship.(although if I would find one I wouldn't say no. A person you can live with is difficult to find.) (plus I don't ever want kids and we should all know the sure fire way not to get pregnant.) I like kids well enough just don't want my own. My niece and nephew are enough. I love animals and currently have a cat named Tiza. I love snow leopards and phoenix which is one reason I am obsessed with Harry Potter. I just love Fawkes. Naruto is now added to my list of favorites as well. Favorite things to read and watch. Harry Potter ( I mostly like the fan fiction. Have mixed feelings on the movies and books) Naruto (The show with English subtitles. Don't like dubbed over in English.) Hellsing (Anime) X-Men ( Have only ever seen the movies) I give constructive criticism. Deal With It. If you are a good writer then you should be willing to improve your ideas and writing. If you are satisfied with your writing abilities then you should not be writing anything but your name. That does not make my ideas for stories correct. These are my opinions and all authors should remember that when reading reviews. They are each individuals opinions therefore each person has their own ideas on what something should be. Remember You Can't Please Everyone. If I ever post a story: 1. Don't expect updates often. (I am not much of a writer, I have no motivation for it. I would rather read GOOD ideas) 2. If you don't like my story then don't read it. 3. I like constructive critics. (That is your job critics, to enjoy the story, encourage writers, and help writers construct works of literary genius) CHALLENGES 1Harry Potter/Naruto Crossover a. Harry is the main character and he gets transported to the Naruto universe. (this can be by accident, leaving by self or being sent randomly.) A. He should have at least a year of Hogwarts under his belt. B. Harry can have a way home but needs to be difficult to obtain. (He might not want to go home.)(hint:)( Doesn't need to be difficult if he doesn't want to go home but other wizards should have hard time getting to him. He should be the only wizard in the Naruto realm.) C. He can have a way to communicate with the wizarding world( not necessary) b. Harry doesn't have to start in the village hidden in the leaves but should eventually travel and settle there. A. He may or may not learn to be a ninja B. He should not share his magic unless it is with one or two people and it is imperative that he do so. (Should explain that it is something else if he can get away with lying.) c. Harry has a trust issue with someone important in his new life. ( Could be a group, like adults or ANBU(?sp) or a single person for one reason or another.) d. Language issues are your choice how to deal with. e. Can bring none wizard friends with. ( animals and magical creatures and if I missed anything that can't be called human or half-human.) That is all I can think of at the moment, please leave me a message if you would write off of this prompt. I want to read it. Views on Controversial Issues 1. Gay marriage and relationships - If you are gay or straight keep it in the bedroom. I don't care what gender either person is, more than a chaste kiss or holding hands in public is disgusting. Necking or having sex in the streets with your clothes on is wrong no matter who the couple is. ( I am not a prude, I just don't believe in airing your life to the world. There are family and therapists to relate issues to. My family is very open to discussing anything. (except religion, all the adults in this house each have a different religion and we say to each his own.) The only part of your family that you can ever pick is your spouse (under average circumstances) choose wisely. I do believe marriage should be forever. Love is hard to find. Keep it close and never let it go. Let them legally have a union even if the church does not recognize it. Having said that I thought I should point out that I am not a christen or catholic. Either way I am not overly religious. (I don't know why this is such an issue all of a sudden. Look back at human history. Same sex relations have been around probably as long as the human race. The only reason I can see against it is possible decline in the population because of less breeding couples but I think the world needs less people, so not really an issue, plus there is artificial insemination.) Wow I can rant and go off on tangents. No wonder I don't write stories. I just have to rant a little more here so please listen even though I know very few people see this. You know how everyone is complaining about the rising health care costs in the USA. I have a prime example why the costs are rising. It is like at my job, we get four days of unexcused absences in a year. You hear that, you have to go to a doctor for every little complaint, no taking a day for a migraine headache, no days to take kids to doctors, no days for stomach problems, and lets not mention the once a month symptoms for women that can get so bad you could curl into a ball. So yes companies of the world please give us no time without a doctors note, we all want to run to the doctors for a simple problem(like the flu, where the doctor can't do anything but tell you to go home and rest), pay the premium each time and raise our health care costs, yay! Shall I go into the snow day and ugly weather clause as well. We don't get an official snow day unless there is eight inches or more and even though it is more dangerous then snow we can not use an ice storm as an excuse. (In Pa we have plenty of ice storms, I had to scrap off an inch of ice just to leave work one morning. I work third shift which makes some of the conditions worse because the roads are not cleaned up until the morning commute, because we all work first shift apparently.Oh and those ugly weather days you do take that aren't official snow days count against the four days you do get for illegal days. And if you haven't worked there a total of five years you only get one week vacation which you have to use on the week of shut down. To start you also only get one no notice personal, and two regular personal days the you have to give 72 hour notice on. But good luck getting the days you want because first day of the new year first shift that has all the senior people with more holiday pay, passes around a sheet that third shift never sees to claim what days they want in the coming year because only one person in each department can have a day off at the same time. So yes we have lots of options instead of taking an illegal day off and we couldn't possibly need more than four days unless we were an abuser taking off just for the heck of it. I stole the following segment from the Author Profile of KingofLoosePages If you have ever pushed on a door that said pull or vise versa copy this into your profile. A confused nine year old boy goes up to his mother and asks, "Is God male or female?" After thinking for a moment, his mother responds, "Well, God is This confuses the little boy so he asks, "Is God black or white?" "Well, God is both black and white." This further confuses the boy so he asks, "Is God gay or straight?" At this the mother is getting concerned, but answers none the At this, the boy's face lights up with understanding and he -dies- I love it! I’m sarcastic, I’m cynical, I’m pessimistic, I'm cruel, I'm jaded, I would rather watch a person be run over by a bulldozer than watch one bulldoze a tree, I despise the mass of the Human Race, My singing sounds like a dying rabbit yet I still vocalize in musical form, and I support ones right to be gay if they choose to be. Strange that of these vocally expressed traits, people only bitch about the last one. What does it say about me but I am like this too. |
